This is not a declaration of war.National and state of emegencies are always in play,so they give themselve's higher than normal powers through loopholes.

However things are turning sour,and how does one think Russia will react to having assets frozen.

There are far more pressing issues on the economy than that pathetic pipesqueak tyrant despot Putin and what he does or desires.

It might not be really that important. Emergency state stuff...
But you guys have to agree that this is "another brick in the wall", another point of disagreement between US and Russia... Maybe only diplomatic talks could solve this, but if these kind of Executive Orders keep on coming, things can go really bad...

There are more pressing issues than that pipesquek tinpot tyrant Putin.

Show him the middle finger and give him the due attention he needs - at the bottom. He had only proven himself self-serving and irresponsibility to the Human Race over the iran and syria issue.

He can go ahead with anything he wants - further intimidation to the Free world or whatever.

But rest assured, if he pushes, he will only get the response he truly deserves, something that he can and will only be able to regret in his next life.

This is what it is about. It is protecting funds so that the the Russians can't use this as an excuse to drag there feet on their agreement. The Congress supports this.
