Cool video, although I'm not sure what is practical about it. I think it illustrates how muscles/ feathers/ structural design help this owl slow down and have complete control over it's flight

That's what I was thinkin.. the feather's ruffle up and the wings "spread" for it to slow down.
Still a very cool video though..

Well...yeah!!


Basically it's showing in great detail how the owl is controlling itself - notice also how the head stays stock still fixed on dinner!
