We Need More Troops In The Middle East!!

So most people here know me as anti-war guy
But really i'm pro-peace just anti-immoral-war

in any case we need more troops in the middle east
Why?

Because if we have less what we will instead have is mercenaries in the middle east
Overpaid mercenaries with ZERO accountability!

So while I want the wars to end there should never in any country be more mercenaries than troops

And I think it's important for people to realize that before jumping the gun and saying "Don't join the millitary"

Sure the word national defense is being thrown around left and right like kleenex
But we shouldn't trivialize the word like the powers that be do

If we had unrest here in the states, how many soldiers from other countries would come in to help? I've wondered that.

Troops= real people with real lives. Being expendable has to stop now.
Its sad, very sad whats going on, but I would like to see my son-in-law raise my grandchildren, not mourn him.

Easier said than done. Too many issues to resolve, too much politics, too many alliances and old foes to consider. Then you have the economies of Countries, some so far flung across the globe from the region that you'd never consider them as an integral part to the stability or prosperity of that region. Or whether it's just based on self greed.

By the looks of your superhero shield you might need a new career. Maybe the Army needs more bullet sponges? You should send your kids to fight for your cause too. Makes perfect sense to do that instead of doing it yourself. Holy war involving them and Christians. The warmongers live here too. How about we get rid of the mercenaries and pay our soldiers those nice wages and benefits instead? I get what you are trying to say I think. But there are better answers than to send more of our troops there.

I understood you. But f there was no fake state of Israel there would be no problem. Get out of the middle east. There is no national interest there that is not fabricated. The US does not need oil from the ME if the US would develop its own resources and alternatives. It is Zionism that has forced the world to focus on Israel and the ME. I understand your point. But, we need to get ALL of our troops out of the middle east. It's just not in our best interests to be there anymore. As far as I'm concerned we have fulfilled all of the goals we set out to do. Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden are both dead. There's no real point in being over there anymore.

I agree that we should never have more mercenaries in a country than active regular troops. Rome learned this lesson the hard way, unfortunately I don't think that the US Government pays much attention to history.

We need to stop protecting Israel. If they can't get along with their neighbors, maybe they deserve to get their asses kicked for a while. Israel has to learn that compromise doesn't mean they get everything they want and they can act like jerks. It means they work together with their neighbors for a mutual benefit.

Iran is no threat to anyone. Ahmadinejad is just the Joe Biden of Iran, he says a lot of stupid things, but doesn't really have the power to go through with it. It's the Ayatollah in Iran that has the power, not the president.
