The doctors for your wife failed to schedule an MRI or Xray. I just got through reading Monday Mornings by Dr. Sanjay Gupta, which my paralzyed multiple sclerosis wife got me for my birthday and urged me to read.

It is a novel, but based on real life and his experiences I assume. He is among other things a medical doctor appearing on CNN. Several times in the book a diagnosis was elusive and due to the doctors not making routine tests and following protocols.

One persistent medical mystery was not solved until an eccentric resident figured out the woman had contracted trichinosis from handling raw pork.

One reason why people are turning to faith healers and alternative medicine is because the traditional medicine is sometimes incompetent or inadequate.

All of us going forward are going to have to be our own doctors to some degree and do some of our own research into our ailments and use our own intuition to try and help our doctors cure us ....since they see so many patients and because so many doctors today are in the field because they wanted a high paying job and had the ethnic connections to get into med school but are not really that much into healing as they are making big money.

So many doctrors in the past had so little technology to work with but their intuition and insight and less cluttered minds made them somewhat as effective as the rock star docs of today with all the gizmos.

Your wife is going to have to quiet down and go within and ask herself what is her best treatment and if she wants to get well she will.

I pray your wife will get the proper treatment and the cyst will not grow back.

As for the doctors malpractice, get a well referred disability lawyer and sue the pants off these guys.

If you are in the Dallas-Fort Worth area U2U me, I can give you the name of an awesome disability lawyer.

Yes the doc has used that term as well, but it seems like she uses syrinx and psudo-cyst interchangably. Again, I am medically ignorant so I honestly would not know one way or the other. Thanks for the info.

We found a lawyer locally that will handle the disability portion free of charge. He'll take a small portion of the back pay, but that's the least of our worries. I'll have to have my wife ask if he can look into the neglect side of it as well, be interested to hear what he'd have to say about it.

Sorry to hear about all the distress I send Love, I believe some good ole Vitamin B maybe the deficeit in her body. I don't know what her back problems are but I do know this substance helps nerves radically and maybe a benefit. It helps sciatica which stems from the spine. Just might give it a try also has do do with numbness.
I know it helped me. Many people try whole foods and all organic which isn't really expensive as you might think. If you drink pop, any carbonated beverage stop leads to acid in the blood and contain arsnic as many things do, The good news many foods you can eat nuetralize it like eggs, legumes, etc. Sorry didn't realize I had so much to say. Good Luck peace be with you

That's something most people don't think about. Good for you! Have you heard about alkalizing with Mag-pen to help your blood ph stay at or above 7ph the reason for all the talk is nothing bad can grow in a alkaline body Not cancer, viruses or bacteria unless they've reversed engineered something. Let's hope not.

MY MAGIC PILLS I was just about to inform the op of serrapatase, they are fantastic, i had gout for 5 years no drugs would help it, after taking them ater 5 days the gout had completely gone.

also i had a stroke 5 years ago and for the first 3 and a half years everytime i stood up i rocked backwards and forwards this gave me motion sickness constantly, after 2 weeks the motion sickness had completely gone.

my sister came to see me for a hoiday she'd had a chest infection for 8 weeks she had taken antibiotics several and even steroids nothing would get rid of it, i gave her 3 80,ooo IU and the next day it had completely gone, along with an ear infection too.

my neighbour suffered really bad with arthritis in his fingers, he was on steroids, after 2 weeks of taking serrapatese he could play the guitar, he was so thrilled he gave a tub to one of his friends who was unable to walk down stairs in the mornings without being aided, yet again 2 weeks went by and he was able to walk downstairs without any help whatsover, the amount of crippling disease these pills cure is outstanding, that's why i call them my magic pills.

my husband had a swollen prostrate after one week of taking the tablets the swelling had completed gone. there is a huge list on the website of testimonials especailly regarding cysts and fibroids completely disappearing please consider taking these tablets for you wife before having surgery you both have notihng to lose here!

saying prayers for you both, best of luck on whatever you both decide.

As a medical professional, I agree with a lot that has been said here.
First, call the Mayo Clinic. They have specialists there that may give you the answers you need...and the proper testing.
Second, get several opinions before doing ANYTHING! esp. surgery! Surgery may be the best decision, but there are a lot of different, new procedures out there now that aren't like the old surgeries at all. The newer micro-surgeries are very non-invasive but offer a lot of options. The problem with having back surgery is that one you have it done, you seem to have to have it repeated. With the newer micro-surgeries, this is decreased, if not eliminated.
There is a group of specialists here in Dallas that are THE experts on this micro surgery. The incisions is made at the base of the spine, about 1/2 inch long, and a scope is threaded up the spinal column. This isn't to be confused with the more common micro-surgeries that go directly into the area that is effected. If you'd like more info, I'll be glad to help.
They need to find the problem, not just get rid of the cyst. If that quesiton isn't answered, it may just come back. Again, Mayo would be able to tell you what kind of cyst it is.
I wish you and your wife the very best. You're in my prayers.

Sorry to leave the Anesthesiologist hanging at generic intrusion level "bulge".
These guys aren't restricted to Papayan injections to deal with problems with the Discs' and Vertibrae, I mentioned that because several posters' mentioned and suggested fusion to keep the cyst from coming back.
I had Retrospondylolithesis, which led to failure of two discs' at the lumbar sacral junction.
One of my pals is a retired Chief of Staff at a Regional Hospital ( with one of' best regarded Trauma Center).
He was battle hardened in Vietnam where he did everything he could to fix some very broken people.
A talented Neurosurgeon, he had a speciality as an Anesthesiologist, during one of our visits I told him my uncle (Nearing End of Practise,Ret.) had suggested the fusion, he asked me to check with the guys at the facility I was speaking of referring ComitusComitus to, I knew the guy, he was Head of Anesthesiology on the Regional Emergency Hospital, and on dev. staff at the School of Medicine...He used to kick me and his kid out of the house at 10pm with a credit card and the keys to his Mercedes. He'd tell us to go get drunk, smoke a certain substance which may not be named, pick up some sluts and get a room.
"Like good normal boys do."
We'd give the Timber Wolf's Howl as we left in a hail of sponges dustcloths and plastic stuff.
It was a secret code...don't come back till this stuff ain't in the drive.
I don't know what sort of howlin went on there saturday evenings, but it must have been sweet.
Anyway, he had a guy come talk to me about my severe lower back pain(sciatica SUCKS!).
The guy wanted me to let him do what he'd been doing to fix some disc disruption syndrome.
The Microsurgery Team removed some failed disc material and replaced it with an experimental polymer cushion, then injected Papayan into the failed discs' themselves to break down the now replaced discs.
This was all done under a local and a nerve block, when I was told to try to stand I prepared for that lightning bolt of pain to scream through my hips and down my legs. Didn't happen.
Now some 40 years later, Doctor Dad has retired, and my buddy is now Dean of the University where the med students who are learning intricate and daunting neuro-surgical procedures observe in the operating theater, the entire surgery is recorded in extreme close up.
ComitusComitus mentioned the kind of cyst his wife has is rare, and the situation is being discussed in terms of Death/Disability.
This is a case the Institute would want.
The Surgeon who will be asked to operate will be exquisitely skilled in his speciality.
An entire team will develop a "flight plan", I do not know the cyst's type so I'm not certain if they have ways to exclude it from the system chemically or by mechanical methods, but I am certain that if total removal of all the cyst is critical to the extension of the recovery of the patient, it will be done using techniques not available evven 10 years ago.
I may not be the best guy to explain what bleeding edge science is doing in the field, but I do know that my pal is the big dog at the place the entire world sends their best and brightest, no one else is going to get there, because even though the complex is huge, there are only so many slots open, it is through the close up recording of the procedure that other Medical Schools can see exactly what was done, and how.
I know this for certain, my lower back trouble is gone (without the proceedure to fuse the vertibrae), not a trace of a problem for over 30 years.
I know two people who had fusion done in the lumbar sacral junction, both at least 15 years ago, both have mobility problems, and the pain is back. I have suggested they consult surgeons recommended by my friend the Dean.
I am not a physician, I don't play one on the internet, but when I recommend one to somebody, they will be the best because that is what may be required, after all the death/disability of a loved one threatens this young man's wife, himself, and his family.
The loss of a spouse is said to be as painful as the loss of a child.
I've buried a son (U.S.M.C. Forever), I seek only to assist if needed to see that this young man does not feel that which I know.
I am fortunate in having friends in high places I guess, but these people's names are known, and respected internationally, they are the best in the world.
My name is known internationally as well...not quite so respected perhaps..."# happens"-Forrest Gump
Thank you for your kind response to my post to the OP.

First off I'm the son of a Surgeon, not an MD myself.

Dad was considered one of the best in our locality. I'm sure he would recommend you seeking out the best surgeon there is for this particular problem. Ask hospital nurses, especially surgical nurses, in your locality, to recommend someone. If you hear the same name several times, good chance he or she will be the best.

Understanding the options, a 75% success rate is fairly good. I'd take it. The alternative of doing nothing and suffering followed by death seems pretty bleak.

I'm about 2 months away from approval of a ticklish spinal surgery myself. I asked my MD to give me the best. Apparently he is for the surgery I need.

Also keep in mind that even the best surgeon may not perform the surgery immediately. He may require certain tests or waiting periods, or even other treatments before embarking on the surgery. He will do this in your wife's best interest. Don't try to second guess him, just ask him to explain so that you both understand.

Cannabis oil or raw cannabis tincture. Don't be brainwashed by mainstream medicine. Do your own research. Check out the Rick Simpson Story online (it's a good place to start and will lead you to many other stories about miraculous healings with medical cannabis). It really works. Please do your own research.

What I know of the medical world is still fairly limited, but one thing I have learned is that most doctors just make educated guesses..and try to throw every kind of medication at you that gets them the biggest payout. Your wife's situation is similar to my mother's. She went to every specialist we could get our hands on anywhere within several hundred miles. How much did they do to help? Nothing.. and they sometimes made it worse. They just gave her meds and said, "Come back next year for some more!" This went on for around 10 years before she randomly found one man. This man took one look at her, and without even being told what was wrong with her, he already knew. He blatantly said that it was no problem to fix, just come on over for 3 visits in 1 month. She did and she's recovered about 90% of the way. This isn't the only case like this for this guy. He is an expert in many different natural healing methods. His name is Dr. Marc Langas, and he resides in Tyler, Texas. Here is his website:
