Posse Co singular Mutatis?
Nice concept, but not the topic here.
First Sir, I wish to add my personal best wishes for your family.
I shall request the Prayer Chain at New Bethel hold your wife in their prayers. New Bethel is a Christian Congregation, they do invoke the "Blood
of The Lamb" in their prayers for healing. It never hurts to have people pray, even for we who are "different", it is nice to have others give a rip
My wife believes that God knows who you and your wife are, just from this, so don't worry about the GPS coordinates, He knows every bird in the
mountains, he knows his children.
My Wife is the Pastor at New Bethel, she became a Christian in the early 80's, I support her decision though I am an interfaith minister who knows
only that he does not know.
I'm not exactly an atheist, nor am I agnostic, I could claim to be an athegnostic...or something.
I guess you could say I am a Pantheist, it's an old family thing, of little or no interest to you at present.
I am horrified that it took so long for your wife to find someone competent to order what should have been one of the first tests your wife
Her symptoms should have suggested a possible lesion or even a bulged disk compressing the spinal nerve sheath.
The twin serpents on the MD's caduseus represent medicine, and poison, and though I speak only half in jest when I call them hypocrites...they
always remind me that the Hippocratic Oath is an Oath after the teachings of an ancient Greek Physician named unsurprisingly Hippocratese. I am a
follower of The Staff of Aescalapius, older and only one serpent...healing.
You have not only been mis-served by the Physicians who follow the way of the Caduseus, you have been abused.
You have been shunted into the "another nurotic woman" list.
This is something that many clinicians today do, surprisingly even many female doctors think that the natural situation of the American married woman
is depressed or at least a hypochondriac.
It's as if it isn't an OBGYN problem, a wife needs the care of a psychologist, but they'll all write prescriptions for whichever pain relievers
and anti-depressants the reps are offering the best incentives (trips to Hawaii, cruises, ect) to prescribe their stuff, in case she likes getting
stoned on pills and vegging out watching soaps(do people still watch those?).
Unless she has the flu, or some easy to spot illness, like measles or chicken pox, there is very little chance of her getting a clinician who has
not seen her before to bother with taking her complaints seriously.
The best policy is to have a nearby family Dr. who knows you as people, not just another billing, and is quick to set up referrals to specialists.
An interesting aside; if a Dr. FINALLY does the right thing by way of referral, your wife will be much better cared for, after all, another god-like
Dr. has given you the courtesy of an introduction, congratulations, your wife has now achieved personhood in the Dr's eyes.
The family Dr. idea is for later, right now you need to get your wife to the best surgical team available.
I suggest you act without delay, her situation is still completely reversable, but as you mentioned, her spinal fluid is having problems with
circulation, and it will only grow worse with time.
I cannot urge you strongly enough, seek out the best available, be certain the specialist you consult is experienced with this surgery and is
comfortable working on removing a cyst in the area where your wife has the restriction.
My Uncle is an Orthopedic Surgeon, I have seen him deal with many situations and can tell you that you need to ask to have a top notch
Anesthesiologist on the team.In removing bulging disc material through Papayan injection, the Anestheseologist may offer a better solution than having
discs fused, and he knows the spinal process better than you'd think possible. I don't think that cyst has to come back if properly treated.
If you are uncertain as to which way to look for the highest quality care, and are willing to travel a bit to get it, I can direct you to a
facility which has the absolute best of the best on staff.
The Medical Complex I can refer you to has an internationally respected reputation in all aspects of medicine, but their surgeons have set the
highest standard in Emergency Surgery and Trauma care, their Sports Medicine guys know how to get your wife feeling like she should as quickly as
possible. The facility and Dr.s' I know not only practise at state of the art, they set it.
If you'd like me to direct you to a friend who is Dean of one of the most respected Medical Institutes in the world, and will see your wife is
cared for like family, kite a U2U my way (promise 2 check my mail twice a day) and I'll handle introductions.
