Edwards and Cheney

Edwards and Cheney are currently at it and are looking to be well matched. Edwards just blamed Cheney for having voted against a ban on plastic weapons that can get through metal detectors. This is typical of the left to invent a weapon and blame those who vote against legislation to ban it. There is no plastic firearm that can pass undetect by a metal detector. You have to be on your toes to catch these subtle lies, but this is the stock and trade of the left. It is to Cheney's credit that he didn't let this sidetrack him.

This one is going to be a toss up really. They're both well versed and articulate enough to make their cases. The difference will be if the American people can see through the lies of the left.

Now, Edwards is blaming the Bush administration for the fact that the war costs money and that we have to pay for it. Earlier, he repeated the allegation that we are paying for 90% of the war in Iraq. Who does Edwards think should pay for it. It is after all our liberty and security that is at stake. If we could get others to pay for it, then good, but failing that, we have no choice but to meet the challenge ourselves.
