I actually don't see anything suspicious. Don't get me wrong - It'd be the perfect time for a false flag, but all these preparations started under the Labour government. And the Labour party is beyond useless - No-one can be surprised when this will all turn out to be a catastrophe of epic proportions with poor planning. And that's just the Games themselves..

But in case there is an "attack", remember that it's never the ones that the media says it is. And tell everyone you know too not to trust the media if it happens. We will not be manipulated.

The usual sub contracting and foreign labour isn't surprising these days in the UK, and given that some of the Jubilee security staff were unpaid unemployed 'volunteers' forced to sleep under bridges with no facilities, and surface to air rocket launchers stuck to the sides of buildings, the government and hence tax payer is no doubt paying through the nose whilst some slick company that got the 'lucky' deal profits massively.

Think I will avoid London most of the summer this year.

A good conspiracy is one that no one sees coming. Dont expect much to happen at the London Olympics, as tons of people are predicting everything from a huge massacre to an alien invasion.

Weapons of mass distraction

Here we go, the good old Guardian have an article on Group 4 security...

In 1993, just three weeks after taking responsibility for the first private prisoner escort service in the country, Group 4 managed to lose seven of their charges.

Tony Blair, who was the Labour home affairs spokesman at the time, demanded that such a "comedy of errors" be brought to an end forthwith. "It is time for the home secretary to get a grip of the prison escort service and ensure public safety. If he cannot be satisfied that Group 4 are providing a service in an effective way, he must take steps for the contract to be withdrawn," he said.

Less than a year later, a hunger striker who had been admitted to hospital from the Campsfield House detention centre managed to escape from under the noses of his Group 4 security officers.

The government facility, which was near Oxford, had seen hunger strikes and rioting that resulted in a mass escape over the perimeter fence shortly after it opened in 1993. It was also run by Group 4.

After a series of human rights protests, official reports by the chief inspector of prisons recorded fear, boredom and stress among Campsfield inmates as well as complaints of inexperience, poor pay and exhaustive shift work among staff.

The centre suffered further controversy in 1998. John Quahquah and eight others were acquitted of charges of rioting and disorder after it was proved that evidence provided by staff was false and unreliable. The home secretary, David Blunkett, announced Campsfield's closure last year.

Group 4 was also criticised for its running of Medway, a secure training centre for young teenagers, also referred to as Britain's first child prison. The social services inspectorate said that, as well as being badly designed and poorly managed, the centre's handling of disturbances was characterised by the use of excessive force.

The handling of detainees caused another outcry in 1997, when it emerged that the company had transferred a prisoner between vans on an M6 petrol station forecourt. Jack Straw, then the home secretary, demanded an urgent report into the episode after the unauthorised exchange was reported by staff at the BP filling station outside Preston in Lancashire

Even Tony Blair is referenced! Long before he flushed our country down the toilet.

Starred you, but then again, we have seen the blatant "in your face, fools" methods being used today. People really don't care. I could post this to facebook 10 times, and nobody would bat an eyelash or rethink going to the Olympics if they already had plans. People really are living in a fantasy today. The jobs of government terrorists are easier than ever. They can really announce their plans and still get away with them. That is my opinion.

I still agree with your statement, but I believe they are now at the point where people are so far gone that it doesn't matter if they give foreknowledge of their plans.

Tony Blair + Group 4 = how much bleh political mulch can the already saturated UK take?

''oh I know let's ask Tony Blair's advice on Olympic security''......''G4 yeah obvious track record(?)..choice!''

Seriously, it's like a slow grinding on the already worn 'are you serious' threads of UK political reality.

You're so right. I have posted many an article about stuff that actually matters on facebook, not even conpiracy related. Just real life injustices that are happening in the world and nobody gives a toss, not even a like or a comment. They are more bothered about what their mate is watching on telly or what their other mate is eating for dinner. So, so sad.

Hmmm. And the organisers have reputedly spent ( Wasted, in my view...). £32,000,000 hawking the Olympic flame around on a prestige tour. Money that could have contributed to proper security.....?

How on Earth do you spend £32,000,000 getting a bunch of volunteers to carry a torch round the country? Seriously, I would like to see the itemised bill for that one!!!

Yes, I know, I'm a miserable sod !

There's a lot of us about, I'm thinking of forming a club.

There is no prestige in security so let's keep it low budget.. We may regret cheapskating in this matter. I hope not....

I would have to disagree with you on that point - security may be low profile but the negative prestige you get from a security failure should be enough incentive to get it right. Personally, I think there is lots of prestige in security. It's low key but it's a vital job and I have a lot of respect for anyone at an important function wearing a suit, dark glasses and is occasionally mumbling into his shirt cuff.

Whether or not there is a credible threat of an incident at the olympics in 2012 the fact remains that this kind of shambles is just plain embarrassing.

Funny enough i just went for interview for job with g4 security for the Olympics. It was in a large hall with about 50 other participants seemed un-organised an rushed. I noticed a large number of foreigners to. I my self am white British born an bread but recently i changed my surname to my stepfathers surname through a solicitors. I had my old birth certificate and my change of name deeds which is legally binding as ID. I flew the interview but when it came to present my change of name deed the interviewer paused went off came back an said they want except it. (Bare in mind that this change of name deed is legally binding and is now classed as my birth certificate)
I have asked multiple people such as solicitors, job centre, advisers an so forth an they all are shocked. Maybe i am to British for the job
luckily when i got home and told my partner were i had been and what happened. She simply said that she would not let me do the job anyway as fear for my safety.

It is worrying, very worrying all I can say as a British citizen is I am glad I am not living in London.

Some of these claims, if true are particularly worrisome. The foreign troops? I really don't get that, the British populace wont take orders from foreign troops, there again maybe they might if something really bad happens, but why are they here, we have enough troops and reserves to manage our own country.

But the thing that worries me most is the plans for the evacuation, I can't think of any other sporting event where they have had plans in place to evacuate a whole city in case something went wrong. I think back how they had exercises on 9/11 matching the attacks, they had exercises on 7/7 matching the attacks, some coincidence hey... And now they have plans for evacuating London and foreign troops on our soil.

I am not normally one to panic but this is troubling to me

"Hey Hussein we want you to train with our security staff and see how these procedures hold up. What we want you to do is to take these weapons and guns and ammo and C4 blocks and quietly try to get into the Olympic area to see if we can spot you"

Hussein: "sure no problem"

Taps Hussein on back, then quickly conceals jihadist suicide confession into his pocket

Await the start of the games, ask Hussein to test the security, then quickly detain/shoot him and say that he was trying to blow up stadium

Make media statement of Muslim terrorists threatening our way of life....

Mission accomplished

This is some serious stuff. Although the journalist in question has very little references on the internet which is slightly suspicious. I definitely won't be going to the Olympics.

also sniffer dog's explosive check's were NEVER carried out

I train dogs part time so I found this report interesting when it came out:

London 2012 Olympics: Security Concerns After Sniffer Dogs Fail To Spot Explosives

Apparently the dogs were "getting bored" (as if dogs were at fault) - that was the excuse for such poor performance. No serious police dog trainer would use this excuse. I have personally always had a negative opinion of UK police dog training methods but it can't be this bad - there's definitely a conspiracy factor here!

This is a well made thread.

This guy is such a joke, apparently the "undercover reporter" is using an amassed amount of anecdotal evidence from people who aren't even part of the G4S fold, at least that's what my source has gathered.

There's a difference between undercover reporter, and guy who wishes he was an undercover reporter but just wants to Nancy Screw the government.

I'm starting to doubt how genuine this journalist is too. Google has almost no info on him before this interview.
