I don't put much stock into orb photos.I'm a believer of spirits...but not so much in orb photos.

It literally could be anything so for me,it's easy to discount them as spirits.

Thank you. I didn't realize there were so many.

No problem. Gives me a chance to use my new photo analysis software I got yesterday.

Can you zoom in and enhance on the orb in the first picture? That orb above the tombstone is big and has color to it. It gives its own light.

I am wondering if they should go back after midnight? Pretty cool though. I would be curious to know if your daughter and her friends got anything???

What would going back after midnight do? What,do you think that's the only time ghosts are around? I think you're getting a bit cliche there. And I also think you're reading too much into those pictures.

To think that this many souls could be wandering around and possibly following them throughout the cemetery is creepy. When my daughter started feeling really weird my husband would take a picture in that direction. Do they want to communicate? Why were they gathering as my husband and daughter were leaving?

It is a little creepy, isn't it? I myself have been seeing dead people here and there for most of my life. And yes, there are a great many souls roaming this Earth trying to get someone to notice them, hear what they have to say. I would not call being able to see them a blessing either, in fact, it is much like a curse. Some are just wisps one hardly sees, some are just a head, or arm, or another body part, and some are free floating apparitions. some can speak and be heard, most cannot. I will tell about one I saw that I thought was a real live human at first.
I was in the hospital for back surgery, it was the night before. I was in a room with another man who was also have surgery on his back. There is a strict no smoking rule, and I don't even smoke anymore. We were lying there in our beds talking, and a man walked in. He was perhaps 60ish, shabbily dressed in a worn out suit and coat, and he sat down in the metal chair right across from the foot of my bed, and sat there, smoking on a cigarette. I remember the smell enticed me, and I wondered at this man. I asked him, "can I help you?" He looked startled that I could see and hear him. Then the other man said, "you better put that cigarette out before the nurse comes." The man asked me if I had seen his Mabel. He asked me again and again. then he just got up and walked, or rather floated out the door. I turned to the other man and asked if he had seen what I saw. Yes, he said, and described the smoking man to a tee. He reported that he did not hear him talk.

A few minutes later the night nurse cam in, and right away smelled the smoke, still heavy in the air. She went about searching our stuff, claiming all the time that we were smoking in the room. Of course, she found nothing. There were no ashes on the floor, I got up and looked.

When I got out a few days later, I asked the Head Nurse if she had ever heard of a male ghost roaming the hospital looking for "Mabel." She told me yes, she had, Mabel was the man's wife, and she had died there right before he did, they were in a bad car accident about 10 years before. She told me he had often been sighted, walking the halls, smoking, looking for his Mabel. True story, happened at Riverside Hospital in Columbus Ohio.

AWW HELLLL NAW

::turns on light::

If there's anywhere in this Earthly realm that is more akin to a portal between the world of the living and the world of the dead than a hospital, I'd love to hear about it. Many who experience substantial time/serious medical events in a hospital no doubt agree with me. You've got people constantly going... and people constantly coming (to/from the world of the living)...

I did some work on your photos, just for kicks, and this is what I got. I hope you like them.

I counted over 30 orbs in this one...

Pretty impressive I must say.

Second pic looks like a sea of orbs, very dimensional.

This is the best I can do for you. If I zoom in to much I start to lose quality. Hope it's o.k..

Cropped + scaled, contrast upped 400%, brightness upped 400%.

Pretty safe to say we're being trolled here by the OP.

I don't think it's the OP doing the trolling here.
But your doing a fine job.

Are you sure I'm the only one? 2012, and the orb pic of the year was supposedly taken in 640x480. What's more likely... camera is set to that low of resolution, or someone scaled down the pic to hide editing artifacts?

Extract from my thread "Paranormal photos: separate the wheat from the chaff."

7- Orbs

Like Rods, Orbs are now fully explained and widely admit to be only unfocused dust illuminated by the camera flash.
There is a huge amount of variety of orbs, including colored, moving, partials, etc... I'll not detailled here how each of them are created, however you'll find thorough explanations here with lots of examples here as well.

The "orb zone"

When an object is too close to a lens to be in focus, it looks fuzzy. However, it becomes fuzzy in a quite specific way. It turns into a series of overlapping circular blobs of light called 'circles of confusion'.
These can appear quite sharp (see top photo) but they are actually a representation of a single tiny point (a highlight) on the complete object (which, overall, then looks fuzzy and out of focus).
You can often see this 'orbing' effect in pictures where there is a portion (particularly in the foreground) that is badly out of focus.

Very small objects, like dust particles or small water droplets, produce just a single circle of confusion (or orb). This effect can occur anywhere but is often only noticed when it occurs at somewhere significant, like a haunted house.

Digital cameras have lenses with a much greater depth of field than film cameras. This means that the nearest point to the camera that is in focus is a lot closer. It also brings the 'just out of focus' area ('orb zone') closer as well.
The 'orb zone' is so close that it is intensely illuminated by the flash. The intensity of the flash increases according to an inverse square law with decreasing distance.
Indeed, if the subject of your photograph is at a distance of 5m, a particle of dust at 5cm from the camera receives approximately 10,000 times greater light intensity!
This creates an 'orb zone' in digital cameras where the light intensity is sufficient to illuminate the faint out-of-focus bits of dust, which appear as circles of confusion (or 'orbs').

The graph shows flash illumination diminishing with distance (to right).
O = too out of focus to be visible even with flash
Z = (orb zone) out of focus but visible due to high flash intensity
B = out of focus but invisible because flash not intense enough
F = in focus and visible

In a film camera, all the zones move further out and the 'orb zone' generally vanishes because there is insufficient flash intensity at the increased distance.

As digital cameras get larger CCDs (not just megapixels but physically), their lenses get decreasing depth of field. This means that the problems of orbs and strange mists should gradually vanish. No more spoiled pictures!

This one was taken in my backyard, by throwing some talc powder in front of my camera, flash fired.

Orb photos can be moisture, particle or insects, when on still camera, if captured on video and a reaction occurs from its 'intelligent' movement, then you have something to play with. The green light I'm going to say is from a road or traffic.

I appreciate the effort, but it's lost in this thread. The op had her ego stroked to make her believe it's ghosts. She won't listen to reason.
