Leadership/Presidentialness points.

It really makes no difference to his oration whether he's sitting or standing but it's well known he feels most comfortable in amongst the audience or moving around. He agreed because he can argue his case well and sitting behind a desk gives him leadership points.

Haliburton issue cheney got a littler bit off in there, good point for Edward.
