Yep, if you click on the one from 06/20 for Orlando and scroll to the bottom, you will see it applies to all aircraft except for those directly supporting the Secret Service or office of the President.

Other times they might be hazards such as wildfire smoke, or missile launches, or military training in the area. Sometimes they restrict space over large events like the Super Bowl.

To be fair, I own 2 cam corders. One is completely digital, but the other uses 8mm video tape. No tape, no video. I can take digital photos with it however.

And I know this may be harder to believe than any UFO story but: not everyone owns a cell phone, or a cell phone that takes pictures and video.

Nothing out of the ordinary in OKC that I observed. If they were going W/SW from Miami they would have cleared more by Stillwater to Enid then OKC I think.

HOWEVER:

There was a substantial LACK of air traffic. I live 2 miles and 12 miles from 2 minor general aviation airports. 5 miles from a large general avaition airport (wiley post). And about 12 miles from Will Rogers World Airport. There is almost always several aircraft up within the 20 or so minute time frame tha I was out. Only saw 1 airliner in the E to W transit corridor, and 1 aircraft moving into the pattern at Will Rogers. Although he took a wide birth to the west. So the lack of traffic seemed a tad bit odd, even for this hour. It was a nice nite and no wind, so usually lots of night flying (there is a private pilot practice area just a few miles off to the west.

If i see anything on local news I'll let you know....but right now it's all about the NBA loss....ugh...

Well, Mom is on the case armed with my cell phone and her binoculars, but I'm going to bed, LOL!

Watching with her for a little bit just now, we did see a couple of tiny white dots moving due north at a steady pace. Nothing seemed to be flashing, but even with the binoculars they were pretty tiny and hard to see. I don't think they were related at all to the earlier sighting.

Watching some of the more typical jets fly over just now, I have to say the ones earlier were at quite a bit of a lower altitude. The escort jets were easy to discern the entire outline and the individual lights, whereas the higher passenger jets are difficult to observe the detail even with the binoculars. I'm guessing 15,000 feet or less. Maybe there were headed into land somewhere near Tulsa?

I can't confirm this since I can't find it, but I think i recall a "prediction thread" saying something extraterrestrial was supposed to happen on June 21st. It's the 22nd now where I am but this occured on the 21st in Misouri.

Wouldn't it be something if a prediction thread finally came through?

A lot of people think it is the summer solstice, but I think the solstice was actually the 20th this year. There are always a lot of predictions for the solstices.

Yes, the solstice was on the 20th due to the leap year I believe.

I could be wrong though, but that is my hypothesis for why it fell on the 20th this year.

Hope this isn't too far off topic but can anyone confirm?

I wonder if this could have anything to do with the possible sighting.

Thank you, I believe that was the thread.

The author of that thread failed to realize that the solstice falls on the 20th this year though, but I didn't realize it fell on the 20th until yesterday when a friend corrected me.

I wish I could see what the OP is seeing

I got called in to work tonight after a full shift during the day, and was looking at the sky on my way here. The skies were clear and there were plenty of stars. Maybe I will go out and take a peek on my break.

Great report. Sounds like you saw something interesting. Have you reported it to MUFON yet? I'm sure they would have somebody call you for an interview about your sighting. I just looked at the last twenty reports section of their website, and there are a few strange sightings from the 20th and 21st (though not from your area), including one witness who said:

It was sliver, no wings, no obvious windows or tail, or trail. It had two groved areas around the middle like the belly was groved or dipped inward.

There are likely other people who saw what you saw. Maybe they will read your report on the MUFON website and be encouraged to file a report of it too.
