I know what Obama is all about and we have seen what he can do and we have seen him openly promise things to the russians and promise this and do that. Nothing he has done has bettered us. In fact he has hurt us in many ways. I agree that Ron Paul might be better. But the problem is that he doesnt have the support. Its too late to garner the support and you me or anyone else can fix that. But Mitt has the support and asside form campaign tactics designed to tell us that he is just the same as Obama, we really dont know that. We know what we have been told. But he has not had the chance to try. I know Obama has and it sucked. So if he is just the same then why not give him a shot and see? But I have a feeling Ron will drop out before it is all said and done. Just my thoughts on it.

I apoligize to you my friend if I came out arguementative. I want to give someone a chance! But honestly when I look into Romney's background and study his involvement with the banking industry, I have to come to an honest conclusion, that I have to stop feeding the machine.

I understand the fear of having Obama get re elected, I really do. But I cannot in good concious vote for another guy who I feel is already bought and payed for..........

If you take a look at how our country has progressed towards a police state, it isn't just Obama who did it. We can go back to GW and see it being implemented. I honestly don't know what we as Americans can do to take our country back, when our whole political system seems to have been taken over by Corporations and Banks...

As much as I hate to say it, I hope I wake up tomorrow and the government is rounding us up, just so we can get the ball rolling!!! I am tired of believing in a government who has become sooooo corrupt, that they have most Americans living in fear, starving, losing their homes etc etc.... This isn't just Obama's fault, although he definately seemed to be willing to step up to the plate to escalate it at such a rapid pace that it is hard not to notice it no matter how asleep a person might be.

I guess, that judging the way things are right now, that ANYONE who votes, is wasting their vote! One man or woman cannot change the corruption that has ruined our country! No way, NO HOW!

But in all honesty, I can no longer feed the machine that so many people are still clinging to as the savior of their country! The only people who have the power to save our country, are people like you and me! We can't rely on the corruption to correct itself anymore! The longer we play this game, the stronger THEY get! I am honestly tired of fighting others over political views when they mean absolutely nothing, once we can all see the bigger picture.

Again, I apoligize to you for coming across as arguementative, but I think we can agree that something really needs to change!

Right, but those who support Obama think you can pick up a turd by the clean end.

And those that support Romney think you can wrap a turd in Wonderbread and it makes him the miracle candidate that's easy to digest!

I think you're missing Titen's point.

You will not change anything by not voting for Obama or Romney. RP had his chance and it didn't take with the majority of people. Perhaps that is too bad but we can't change it. What we must do is change the Congress. Your choice is either more government or less government. I am not going to pursuade you one way or the other, nor vice-versa. We may have different political beliefs and I can live with that. I am personally for less government no matter who is in charge. I am for cleaning house in the entire congress. How anybody can continue to put Pelosi and Reid in office is beyond my comprehension. I know people wonder the same thing about my choices but I hope my choices reflect my beliefs. I don't for one minute think that Congress is not bought and paid for by those with money and influence. That is wrong, wrong, wrong. There should be either open disclosure about PAC funds, Hollywood funds, Union funds and private funds on both sides of the aisle.

Everytime a congressman attaches an earmark to a bill, they should be required to disclose their financial relationship to the recipient. The crooks are not just in the White House. At least with Romney, he is rich enough that he doesn't have to line his pockets while sitting in the White House. Maybe he will funnel projects to his friends, I don't know. I do know, that projects like Solyndra will not happen. Anything invested in private funds will be vetted thoroughly before we are stuck with the bill. I can't say the same for congress. I think Romney would veto bridges to nowhere and airports that no one uses.

I am for less government. Obama is for total control. I am against him for that. He will also do anything he can to protect his friends (Holder, Sotomayor, etc.) I don't know why people call Romney a crook when he hasn't done anything illegal (mostly) and yet Obama has not even been vetted about his past, his relationships with his his appointees and his history. It is just beginning to come out through the MSM that Obama is truly a Marxist. There are people who want socialism. In my opinion they are wrong. However, there must be some control over unlimited capitalism such as hedge funds, banking investments, houseing loans and such. Anything that can take us down, needs to be controlled. Barney Frank was wrong and the housing crisis affected the world.

Do what you will but at least participate. Stay awake at night worrying about how to pay the mortgage, light bill and car insurance. Don't take this system for granted like the elite do. People have died for your right to vote. Don't make it for nothing.

With that frame of mind, it won't. But between those two....neither will be getting my vote. I can't in good conscience cast a vote for "The better of two evils" any longer.

I dont like obama either, but atleast he wont take us to war like romney will.

Since when did you decide you don't like Obama?

Do you feel comfortable supporting a candidate that boasts he would start a war without congressional approval? Romney has said he will.

The same disdain people feel for Obama, they should feel for Romney. Especially ATS members, aren't you guys supposed to be somewhat politically educated? Both are backed by Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan. Both are war mongers. Both could care less about the constitution. Both could careless about you.

Romney is going to do nothing but spend our money. He has said he is not going to cut Federal spending. Hmmm he sounds just like Barack....Sure he's republican? He also plans on expanding "defense spending" when it is already the largest in the world.

You will not change anything by not voting for Obama or Romney.

You won't change anything by voting for either of them. Their policies are so similar it is hard to tell them apart, other than minor things...like gay marriage. Oh, and they're both financially backed by Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and various other financial institution. They're bought and paid for. That means they are going to do what they are paid to do, not what they want...like any other salary based job.

Mitt Romney Says He Could Wage War on Iran Without Congress Approval

I can assure you if I'm president, the Iranians will have no question but that I will be willing to take military action if necessary to prevent them from becoming a nuclear threat to the world. I don't believe at this stage, therefore, if I'm president that we need to have a war powers approval or special authorization for military force. The president has that capacity now. " - Mitt Romney

www.theatlantic.com...

Wow. That sounds JUST like Obama!! Who cares about the constitution? You don't, hence why you are supporting Romney! People died so you could vote for someone who doesn't care about what this nation was founded upon. All those dead soldiers would be so proud!

I am for less government. Obama is for total control.

You are for less government yet you're supporting someone that isn't going to decrease federal spending and attack Iran if he feels like it?

"If you just cut, if all you're thinking about doing is cutting spending, as you cut spending you'll slow down the economy" - Mitt Romney

firstread.msnbc.msn.com...

Wow. That sounds JUST like Obama!!

He supported the Stimulus. And that is less government to you?

I think there is need for economic stimulus. Americans have lost about $11 trillion in net worth. That translates into about $400 billion a year less spending that they'll be doing, and that's net of additional government programs like Medicaid and unemployment insurance. And government can help make that up in a very difficult time. And that's one of the reasons why I think a stimulus program is needed. - Mitt Romney

Wow. That sounds JUST like Obama!! Romney a Marxist too?

And he supports bailouts/corporate welfare. He's so small government.

In an Ohio television program on May 7, 2012, Romney is quoted as saying, "I'll take a lot of credit for the fact that this industry's come back." Critics claim that the managed bankruptcy would not have been possible without the federal bailout -Mitt Romney

www.csmonitor.com...

Very small gov indeed

Former governor Mitt Romney, who once described himself as a supporter of strong gun laws, is distancing himself from that rhetoric now as he attempts to court the gun owners who make up a significant force in Republican primary politics. - Mitt Romney

www-cgi.cnn.com...

I could go on but I'm getting bored.

Romney, he is rich enough that he doesn't have to line his pockets while sitting in the White House.

Greed knows no limits nor does power. Obama is a multi-millionaire himself.

It is just beginning to come out through the MSM that Obama is truly a Marxist.

Why are you taking advice from the MSM? And if Obama is marxist why is everything he ever does fascist?

Stay awake at night worrying about how to pay the mortgage, light bill and car insurance. Don't take this system for granted like the elite do

Why would someone stay awake at night worry about things if they don't have to? Ridiculous and makes no sense.

This is important. I'm not killing any Persian man just because some Corporate Suit desires that I do so for Jewish interests. If Romney wins, I'm moving, because we all know Iran is going nuclear. I'd like to not have to relocate to Cananda just because some disconnected Corporate King would wish to begin another conflict.
