CNN and other news outlets are suddenly repeating the Libyan defect story?

However last year.
www.timesofmalta.com...

Same Ranks.

(The story backed claims that military planes were being used to attack protesters in Libya as Col Muammar Gaddafi’s regime was threatened by massive protests which yesterday spread to the centre of Tripoli.

The men, who claimed to be high-ranking colonels from the Okba bin Nafe base close to Tripoli, requested political asylum, sources said.)

Remember My thread on about Robert Ford thread?

(In a post on Facebook, Ford -- who has been in the United States since the U.S. Embassy closed in February -- cited the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, which indicted 161 people, including members of the military, "for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity against non-combatants and combatants.")

I guess this is CNN is a desperate try on trying to bring back there viewers by doing such stories as they did last year.

On google news this story is now been repeated over 681 times.

And on the comment sections people are falling for such low crap propaganda yet again.

I wonder if the rebels will be facing criminal prosecution for all the civilians they're killing?

Probably not, hypocrisy seems to be the new norm.

You don't like that the airforce pilots are smart enough to abandon Assad, and not get convicted of genocide with him?

Yes this happens all the time.

Libya defectors

(Reuters) - Two Libyan Air Force fighter pilots defected on Monday and flew their jets to Malta where they told authorities they had been ordered to bomb protesters, Maltese government officials said.

The end is usually right around the corner once you start seeing pilots defecting.

Bombing your own civilians you are sworn to protect would more closely describe a traitor. The pilot left so he would not have to act as a traitor.

Better luck on twitter using one liner quips to prop up a favored genocidal tyrant of yours.

In order to keep down the violence in Syria, the international community should offer a CASH REWARD for pilots to defect with their planes. This will increase the number of defections and deny the Syrian regime the opportunity to use the pilots or the planes to kill their own civilians.

What does the "w" stand for in your user name? I am guessing war simply because I have never heard of a peace lord. Other than Jesus of course.

So now five likes because some people in here haven't learned anything out of the Libyan conflict not surprised and are buying the military industrial complex propaganda yet again just like in that CNN comment section.

No matter how you attempt to spin peoples opinions posting the wrong title [Which by the way is against ATS Breaking Alternative News format] just makes you look desperate and lowers the standards here at ATS IMO.
