War on Terror isn't a joke, but the name is

I recently heard something that made me think. They basically said "It shouldn't be called the War on Terror, but the War on Militant Islam." This jumps out at me as being very true. Every target we have so far is some sort of Islamic Facist state or organization.

A "War on Terror" cannot be won, simply because you can't eliminate terrorism any mroe than you could eliminate emotion. But, you can win a war against a specified target, that being militant islamic organizations. Your thoughts?

Note: I am in no way bashing the Islamic religion as a whole, and would appreciate if everyone else kept such hate-speech to themselves.

I disagree, I think the name " war on terror" is the right one, after all, it's the terrorist that we're going after..

now, I do sort of agree in that, I don't think that the "war" can be won.
