That reminds me of the occasional story here and there of a cease-fire called for Christmas.
Christmas truce was a series of widespread unofficial ceasefires that took place along the Western Front around Christmas 1914, during the World War I. Through the week leading up to Christmas, parties of German and British soldiers began to exchange seasonal greetings and songs between their trenches; on occasion, the tension was reduced to the point that individuals would walk across to talk to their opposite numbers bearing gifts. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, many soldiers from both sides – as well as, to a lesser degree, from French units – independently ventured into "no man's land", where they mingled, exchanging food and souvenirs. As well as joint burial ceremonies, several meetings ended in carol-singing. Troops from both sides were also friendly enough to play games of football with one another.

Really like this thread S&F OP.
This picture alone restored my faith in humanity.
All of them were great. Liked the ones of the guy's saving the sheep too. But anything that knocks those jersey shore fools off their high horse is good in my book.

No.1 and No.6 are pointless as No.1 is stupid and those people shouldn't be a part of the church and No.6 was a race.Who the hell helps someone in a race?
This does nothing to restore faith in humanity.

Hey guys,
I just came across this thoughtful little article with some pictures, there is a series of 21 pictures from all around the world of different people in different circumstances doing some incredible and selfless things, through acts of compassion. I tried an ATS search to no avail.
And act of compassion can send someone on the receiving end of that compassion to tears, as seen in at least one or two of these photos. I took a sample of two of the photos for you guys , please check out the link. I like the photos and i feel you guys will too, everyone needs a little happiness on this page sometimes

I like the one directly above this,
