Terror TV Ticking

(hope I got the right forum - this is media? Right?)

I REALLY think this is a bad idea. VERY bad idea.
Hope they smarten up and they don't air them.
Hope if they are dumb enough to put it on TV, the
ratings are so bad that they have to pull it and
they loose a ton of $$$$.

Cable channel Showtime is quietly at work on a new series about the personal lives of an Islamic terrorist cell in the United States, The Post has learned.

The series � to be called "The Cell" � will be told from the view points of a group of Euro pean and American con verts to Islam who are plotting terror attacks here.

Showtime says it realizes it is walking into a potential minefield by portraying terrorists sympathetically without pulling punches about their violent aims.

"We're trying to look into the minds of these [terrorists] and the issues driving them, beyond a black-and-white portrayal," says Showtime entertainment president Robert Greenblatt, who will decide next month whether to commit to a series.

just another way to scare first and formost americans, nut also the rest of the west into submission to the american "war on terrorism"....

would the FCC even allow this to air? Sounds awful.

i think that shows like these actualy give terrorists ideas of "what to blow up next" and etc...

i mean terrorists have cable right

anyway this would be a great show...

No, wait... something called Matrix? Something similar (help me out, guys)? I remember I tried to watch it and just found the characters so unloveable (and the Muslim characters in particular were so cardboardy and unpleasantly cartoonish) that I quit watching.
