A Polish prosecutor told state news agence PAP personal documents belonging to Mr Nolan accompanied the body and added initial tests did not suggest there had been any foul play.

Mr Nolan had travelled to Eastern Europe for the Euro 2012 finals with 10 other friends via a camper van.

They had stopped in Bydgoszcz and it was when they were on their way back from Gdansk to Poznan that Mr Nolan became separated from the group.

There may have been skullduggery but how sloshed do you think he was?

Sad as it is, I dont suspect foul play basing on current circumstances. He separated from the group and was found in river with money, documents, credit cards. No signs of any injuries.

I live in Ireland, stupid death caused by alcohol are not rare here.
