And you have proven again and again that you are partisan and buy into one side of the coin, or one wing of the same vulture. You buy into this Right vs. Left crap and truly think that one side is better than another. You are extremely biased.

You call me biased, I call you poorly educated. My ISSUE IS IDEOLOGICAL. Do you get that? Do you get that political parties are based on fundamental philosophical distinctions? That the left essentially pushes a 'progressive' moral relativism??? Do you understand that? I don't get where this confusion of yours comes from, but you really and desperately need to read more books if you think I'm being unreasonable or 'buying' into a political construction designed to mislead; as long as the majority of politicians on the left - the much more secular, socialistic, humanistic anti-traditional, push an agenda that I adamantly disapprove of, I will vigorously oppose the left.

Like I said, there are distinctions in life; some people are more liberal, which immediately places them into the 'left' category, since the left tends to serve their interests (which is not to say there arent those in the 'center', who could lean either/or, depending on the issue), while there are those with a religious, traditional approach who are lifelong rightists, who find very few areas of commonality between themselves and the 'left'.

It is nothing but ignorance to generalize as you've been doing that to 'prefer one or the other' is to buy into some right-left paradigm. You make light of peoples beliefs by saying so, as if there is no real line of demarcation between what the left propounds and what the right propounds.

And yet you've spent a large portion of the thread generalizing the "left". You don't even know what socialism is. Instead of pulling out snarl words try talking about the actual topic. The topic isn't how evil the left is. It's Romney getting ready for war with Iran.

Well said, Antonia and that was exactly my point that he was conveniently missing or ignoring. And not only was he generalizing the Left (and falsely at that), he was also lifting the Right up as if they were somehow better (or different). As I said he proved my point many times over about how people buy into the Left vs. Right paradigm.

If you actually followed the course of the discussion in this thread, it was the OP who derailed the thread by making issue of my 'naivete' in believing the left-right paradigm. Not me. I was perfectly content in keeping to the subject at hand, which i addressed numerous times (to you, for instance, which is why your complaint towards a post directed towards the OP is strange, given you didn't even reply to the relevant post directed to you).

See this is the problem with people on the Right. They buy into these code words that their puppeteers use to describe the Left. Marxist, Socialist, and Communist are all different things. They are not interchangeable.
