Authorities with the FAA say a small jet carrying several people ran off a runway at a metro Atlanta airport on Monday.
Kathleen Bergen with the FAA says the incident happened at the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport at around 10 a.m. She says the multi-engine Hawker-Beechcraft 400 ran off the runway and plowed through a fence. The plane came to a rest just short of Dresden Drive.
Authorities say the four people on board made it out of the small jet before emergency crews arrived on the scene.
As of noon, crews were working to contain fuel leaking from the cracked fuselage.
It has been reported that all four were injured and taken to an area hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known.
The flight originated from Gadsden, Alabama, says Bergen.
What caused the plane to run off the runway is unknown.

Looks like he didn't even put the gear down. Either a hydraulic failure, or a failure to do the prelanding checklist.
