my guess in this case why it's a T-bar and not just a bar.
perhaps the UAV has two gear in front.
Unlike piloted aircraft, there isn't anybody in there to steer the thing when it's on the ground, so the crew pulling it with the tow bar connects the
T end to the two front gear, and then, driving with the truck, can torque the UAV around.
