Yahoo News/ABC News - Axelrod Says Heckling is a GOP Sport, Not His

President Obama's senior campaign strategist David Axelrod condemned the protesters who showed up at two of Mitt Romney's campaign events in Ohio today while taking a dig at the GOP candidate, noting that the behavior is "their tactic, not ours."

Axelrod wrote on Twitter, "I strongly condemn heckling along Mitt's route. Shouting folks down is their tactic, not ours. Let voters hear BOTH candidates & decide."

What a goofy goofy guy. Sure, some on the right heckle.
But so do some on the supposedly 'tolerant' left.
"shouting folks down' is definately a tactic that the far left uses at times.
I get that he was telling the folks on the left not to do their heckling.
But .. as for the rest ... the notion that it's just a 'GOP Tactic'
Sorry Axelrod .. you are just wrong.

Occupy Students Shout Down Republican Jan Brewer at Speech

In their latest bold stand for free speech, unruly Occupy students at American University in Washington, D.C., shouted down Republican governor Jan Brewer of Arizona on Friday, forcing her to flee the room with aid from security guards. Even though many in the audience had gathered to hear the governor speak, they instead had to listen to students scream, “The people, united, will never be defeated,” among other things that weren’t really coherent thoughts.

Defense Secretary McNamara Shouted Down at Harvard Speech

Secretary of Defense Robert S. McNamara faces a storm of student protest when he visits Harvard University to address a small group of students. As he left a dormitory, about 100 demonstrators shouted at him and demanded a debate. When McNamara tried to speak, supporters of the Students for a Democratic Society shouted him down. McNamara then attempted to leave, but 25 demonstrators crowded around his automobile so that it could not move. Police intervened and escorted McNamara from the campus.

It happens everywhere. All the time. It knows no party lines.
(and no, MSNBC - Obama doesn't get heckled just because he's black )
Sometimes heckling is spontaneous. Sometimes it's organized and planned.
But it isn't a 'GOP SPORT'.
