hisz.rsoe.hu...

This just seems really close to Yellowstone.

Is this common?

Yeah, I am reporting on all this here:
www.abovetopsecret.com...

That 2.7 quake was right in the Sour Creek resurgent magma dome!

NOT GOOD, considering the other recent microquakes in the SC dome too. I reported on that here:

Could you even feel a quake that small, if your not standing right on it...? And i think yellowstone has hundreds of quakes a week, a few thousand a month.... I could be wrong tho

Huh. I was in Yellowstone earlier today....... Canyon Village is in Yellowstone. But no big deal, really. 2.7 isn't a big quake by any means and there are many of them throughout the year. I'm from Jackson and was up there with family today. Not at Canyon but across the west side up to Madison then out to West Yellowstone Montana, then back down to Jackson. We didn't have enough time to get to Canyon. Yellowstone gets quakes every day and even every hour basically. No need to worry about something this common and small, relatively speaking.

Yea 2.7 is not a big deal, as others have said Yellowstone is very active when it comes to quakes.

Now if it was 7.2 yea be worried
