I've just been listening to CNN News Internation. The New at 10:00EST. The Newsreader, Richard Quest, just read that ".......during a gun-battle in Palestine, 3 Palestinians and an UNDERCOVER ISREALI SOLDIER were killed....."

What exactly is an undercover soldier? I've never heard that phrase anywhere, ever. What does it MEAN?

Anyone?

It means that we can never know who is responsible for attacks, if Palestinians or undercover Israeli soldiers.

In the IDF there are several elite units called "Mistaravim". Those units do many operations deep inside Palestinian towns, while working undercover dressed as arabs.
