Was watching a youtube video and the commentator said to look this patent up, it is supposedly the cure for aids and other viruses so go ahead type into a google search U.S patent # 5,676,977, its all right there.

well i dont have aids but if its true and they have a cure itll end up just like anyother std you can get rid of... hmm i wonder if it would have worse side effects.. maybe something like i am legend movie

Supposedly this is the cure to not just aids, but any blood born virus, stated buy the videos commentator

That patent was never issues, this is only an application, so either the people who filed the patent never got around to paying all the fees, had crappy patent lawyers, or it got squashed by big pharma.

Either way, it was never issued, so it's just hearsay.

You missed out... Maybe it did not work and was flawed. This seems the most likely. Anyone could write up a "cure", and even make it sound legitimate with a few long words and complicated phrases.
