industry adds protien to meat inspite of cancer links

now we'v all heard about the links between eating too much animal protien and cancer.
but did you know that a lot of companies add animal protien to meat to increase its weight/value.

i remember seeing a documentary on the bbc about it and reading about it on other websites but when i was looking for info to post on here this link was all i could find (maybe just coz ive only just woken up lol).

anyway, just thought id share with everyone.

i myself am an avid meat eater, love it...... mmmmmmmm

maybe if they abandoned practices like this we would all be a bit healthier

buy your meat at whole foods (it will cost more, duh, its better)

exactly, it costs more to buy food that wont kill you, kinda makes people living on the bread line (like me) get a bit paranoid lol

Doesn't meat already have enough protein in it, what is the purpose of adding even more? Ohh, that money thing again, so sad.

The cancer links with protein are some of the most laughable, lose links in nutrition science, especially when applied so broadly.
