Hello all.

West Texas has some amazing sunsets. I've seen some of the most beautiful skies ever living in this area, which is good, because that's about all it has to offer..

Uploading pictures from my phone has always been a pain because they are usually larger than allowed. So I figured I'd give a shot at embedding some videos. Apologies for the quality, as these are the first videos I've ever uploaded and my phone is a bit dated.

Nonetheless, here goes nothing. There are 6 short videos in progression over a 10 to 20 minute period.
I think video #4 has the best stuff going on in it.

Hope you guys enjoy... I know I did. The camera does it no true justice, but aren't we used to that.

Love the weather here in Lubbock

No humidity, no real winter and the best thunderstorms

Yea, Lubbock always gets the precipitation and the light shows. It seems like I only ever get to watch them build.

Super-duper awesome !
That was pretty crazy looking.
You caught some really beautiful
unique weather.

Is that coming in from the west
from the Fires in New Mexico?
Or just normal build up?

Absolutely beautiful. The skies should always be filled with clouds. And the wind, I heard a nice wind. Reminds of a time in rosslare ireland I laid on the beach to watch the clouds a nice wind was blowing. I had an hour and a half before my ferry to cherbourg. I missed the ferry. Good times.

Thanks for sharing.

They were kinda coming from my southwest. Something like the southeast corner of NM. I do have a feeling that the fires have contributed to our lucky week of moisture... Not much, but sprinkles are welcome at this point.
