I been sneaking around ATS lately looking at vast amounts of posts and always a fight breaks out with judgement being thrown across. Then there is always that moment when you think "Oh man here we go again another fight nothing new I guess indeed just another day on ats"

I know there are others that feel the same way as I do during those moments.

The main 2 things that bother me the most and make me question always are: Why are we fighting each other? and Why are we passing such judgement?

Just because one person experiences something that can not be explained does not label them "INSANE, BS, CRAPOLA, COOKIE . etc" you know exactly what I am taking about.

A man once said to me:

"Be humble to those around you and understanding to all.
For you are an equal to all as all should be to those around them.
You are not the judge nor a divine being. For you are a mere guide to yourself and others that need your help at certain times. Serve all equally as all should serve others to understanding the life tests that are given.

We are still children in eyes of everything around us, for it is up to us to gain that level of compassion,understanding and conscience to move forward. So why not stop the fighting, the judgement and the hate. Instead stop and wait for a minute of how much time we have spent judging, fighting and hating one another and just for what? Because someone is different and does not fit in our state of normal thinking. All that time wasted when you could have helped them understand more or share a little bit of knowledge in their topic that they have raised.

I believe one must not judge for one did not face the tests another person has in life. This is why the life road we travel and the shoes we are in will always be different to the others. Do not hate but participate for freewill is given to all and should be experienced by all. So instead of diminishing ones will to share their experience consider the courage and bravery of the person sharing their personal experience. Maybe even complement them and thank them for sharing something that is personal and could have changed their view on life.

Instead of making this world darker then it already is, put in some light into the picture for understanding is the greatest gift anyone could give to another person.

Thank you for hearing me out and I hope you will give some more respect, understanding for the courage it takes to share.

Because in our tiny little minds we all think we are right and everyone else is wrong, (Iam guilty of this) it makes us feel good when we are right.
Let me ask you something have you read a post here which has changed your mind? I have......1.

I believe the mind subconsciously generates hate to keep overpoluation from happening, either we kill each other or nature will eventually take it’s course.

Way back then, it was a case of survival of the fittest. We now bend over backwards to support the weakest which in most cases tend to be the most unsupporting.

Let em’ starve, mankind needs to move forward already.

i dont fight with anyone, i say what i think.. i ask what others think, then go from there, no argument unless the other person has mental issues, which is alot of people

if i think someone is saying something fake.. i dont say 'your fake' i just dont reply.. and move on

How can we truly know a person has mental issues if they experienced something that we have not? This is part of the judgement I am talking of.

IMO people are caught up in the uncertainty and fear due to economy, family, job woes,world and country issues. ATS brings a lot of the causes of these bad feelings to the surface. They cant lash out at "TPTB" but they can punch the person beside them and feel a little better. Some its an ego thing. Some just have a bad day.

Every day I wake up I start all over with people from here ( ATS and elsewhere on the internet I visit) and dont hold a grudge. Every day there is a new slate. I personally dont want to be eaten from the inside out by hatefulness or anger or grudges.

We fight because we are human, it is a trait that our kind has picked up to deal with overcrowding or trying to be Alpha. It's part of human nature. Some people like adrenaline and it's better to argue online than go punch someone in a bar. We are trying to be more civilized but the fact still remains that we are human and have emotions.

i feel you dawg but honestly were just big family brothers n sisters always fight....

now imagine if we told those stories or w.e to random people ? they wouldn't understand n laugh or just walk away with a disgusting look like "he's crazCeeeeee"

we do it for love i guess ? lol

but i really freaking hate whn people tryn n be slick ass for the first comment to get stars or the total D!CK/AHOLE

The old excuse nothing wrong with it but I think it is that we fight because we choose to fight and we choose because we let emotions get the better of us. I do wonder what would happen if all of a sudden all of humanity could control their emotions in an instant. No more fighting, no more hate, anger, judgement endless understanding and inner peace. I do believe there is an outside factor also involved I guess we can call it programing of sort in a way, shape or form. From a very young age we are engulfed in violent movies, games and music the list is endless. However, we do not yet question as to "Why we allow it to happen?" we have the will to say no. Sure we might look silly or different in eyes of others but maybe being different is a good thing.

Fear ahh yes the greatest weapon in the world.

Here is the thing we as humanity now have the technology to live off the grid. We can build homes that can support us forever grow our own food, grow fish,grow chickens etc. It is now possible to live off the grid and not worry about things and yet we can not because???????? Yup!!! you guessed it FEAR!!! we need to find a way to let go of things and sure it is hard but it is not impossible.

as a man once said "One man can change the world if he can see the true world" So.... Why not be that man? within us is infinite potential and all it takes is some seeking.

In some of those kind of posts, Im not sure fighting is the description I would use, for they are akin to being targetted, sometimes stalked almost on a thread. And experiencers share the brunt of this. Now I have this plan, not to worry. If they want to call me names or delusional, I shall save up my most out of the ordinary, serendipity mind boggling posts and let em have it. Torture them with some mind expanding posts so they can run away exclaming, she's delusional I tell you, run for the hills. While I smile sweetly.

Family only fight when the members do not try to be understanding with each other nor work together to achieve a greater goal.

It is ok for let them be and understand them for it is part of their lesson and experience to go through in their life.

Why not

You can give them some hints and share some experience but it is up to them to decide where to go from there. Even if in the end they pass judgement onto you just thank them for at least the ability to try and listen. Then walk away with a calm peaceful mind knowing that you shared an experience that might not effect them now but could in the future or that effected them subconsciously.

I am grateful for everything I experience no matter how big or small and even if someone thinks I could be crazy I do not care. The reason is I know I shared a story that at least made them laugh when they thought I was crazy. Laughter is a good medicine for the spirit/whatever we call it.

I have been posting for three years and lurking for longer.

There has definitely been a change in the tone and content on ATS.

When I first stumbled onto ATS, it seemed even though posters disagreed about certain things, there was some undertone friendship or at least understanding. Subjects were different, much more conspiracy toned posts.

Lately, however, it seems more political than anything. Shouting matches and painting groups of people with large brushes. "Conservative" vs. "Liberal", if one starts to appear to be wrong, just shout louder and start personal attacks.
Using propaganda like talking points and claiming them to be fact with no research.

Many of the long time posters I once enjoyed reading, no longer post.

I find myself rarely logging on, let alone posting anymore. I half expect flames just for a post as innocuous as this one.

Hopefully this will turn around someday, maybe posters will realize that this is an internet forum and not real life, that one is not always right and there is nothing wrong about admitting error and learning from it. Changing your outlook because new facts come to light does not make one weak...etc...etc...

Anyway, The OP's positive outlook is a good thing, but I am sure there will be those that come around and flame anyway.

I will keep an eye on ATS and maybe if more posters with the attitude of the OP start posting more, I will come back more often and start posting again.

Now that's the human tendency. Everybody wants to be one up on each other. A peaceful world without any fights is a utopia.

Not everyone on here is a legitmate poster; some are pushing certain agenda's and others are trying to squash certain truths.

Character assassination and sarcasm are tough to defend against and two of the most useful tools in the "knowledge managements specialist's" arsenal - people have to understand this, not take it personally and just ignore it. We should feel pity for these poor folks who are just following orders and trapped in such soul destroying jobs.

However I agree without such negativity this site would be a much better place.
