The implications of just discovering this within a week ago, as big as it is, is what's making everyone wonder just how effective the NEO program is. If it was on a collision course, do you suppose they would have told us? I think they probably would up until it reached ELE size.

ok common they did a freeking landing on that Asteroid,,with pin point precition,,H.D live video feed,,,
800+ dowloaded jpgs,,,

what is that supposed too be,, re: live feed???
that it,, a white dot?????????

i want my money back.

Are you sure the dot is the asteroid, one of them said it was one of the "squiggly" lines on the right

Looks like they just figured out it was boring.

They just cut the feed.

Considering it's around 3,343,998 miles away and only measures 500 meters across, I think they did a marvelous job. Incidentally with membership you get to use the telescope hooked up to your pc.
