I see him like a slingshot into my mind.
His flashing image,
The way his music builds and explodes.
He glides like an eagle over every field I dream of.
He scares me,
Sometimes snapping and smiling.
The way his mouth grows like a tender flower,
Just to slide cruel and laughingly bitter.
But never to me.
As he always protects me.
Does he love me?
For I love him.
And soul I give.
A world I want to be with,
That I would cut into the whole body of reality,
And just slide my way back to him.
And Shakespeare thinking of him, my Midsummer Night's Dream,
My life passing like the pulse behind my dimpled knee.
