According to The Christian Science Monitor, Ron Paul's campaign website appears to be hinting to such a possibility:

Is it possible that Ron Paul is getting ready to endorse Mitt Romney?

We ask that question because Congressman Paul’s campaign website in recent days has posted several pieces that discuss political endorsements in a somewhat defensive manner. In one, campaign blogger Jack Hunter talks about libertarian founding father Murray Rothbard’s 1992 endorsement of President George H. W. Bush.

Rothbard’s libertarian principles did not evaporate because of the “mere act of endorsing,” writes Hunter.

As to the current Paul campaign, “any endorsements made or not made are done with our movement’s goals and efforts within the GOP in mind, whether some understand this or not,” according to Hunter.

I've shortened the article on here, I advise you to check out the full article out in the link.

I guess depending on which side you're on politically, you'll have a different opinion as to whether there is any indication leading to a Ron Paul endorsement of Romney. What I do know is that such a thing would (understandably) be undesirable to Paul supporters. It is however looking more like a possibility as the days go by in my view. Paul obviously wants his legacy to continue on even in his absence in the GOP. He won't have much of a legacy to preserve if he leaves the GOP with little to no support. By the looks of it, Rand Paul may have been preparing Paul supporters with his own endorsement.

Now I'm not much of a fan of Southern Avenger on Youtube by any stretch, but I found this particular analysis from him on Rand Paul's initial endorsement very interesting, he makes good points. One thing he stated that I fully agree with was his point of being a team player in the GOP. If you refuse to give anything back to the party, the party will give little to nothing back to you. Rand Paul apparently gets this, Ron Paul knows this. This is all the more reason why a Ron Paul endorsement of Romney makes all the more sense.

If Ron Paul sells out, or endorses tyranny, then I am against Ron Paul.

Vive la Revolution!

With him or without him.

OP, the still from your video reminds me of this:

Paul will endorse Romney if it comes to that because Paul is a republican first. That's the way he sees
himself. But he'll force Romney's hand on certain issues, at least to commit to something he believes
in before he hands over an endorsement. Though it won't be an effective endorsement--most Paul
supporters see Obama and Romney as two heads of the same coin...and they don't like the coin...

What worries me is this nagging voice in my head...it keeps asking why Paul didn't really attack
Romney during the campaign with him being such an easy[i/] target and all...makes me wonder
about who the VP choice will be if Romney does get the nomination

Even if he does, I'm still not voting for Romney and u sure as hell not voting for Obama

Yes, he will which is probably why his son, Rand, already endorsed Romney over his own father who is still officially in the race. I would look for an endorsement before the Republican Committee which will serve to put the Paul's more in the mainstream of Republican politics and a possible VP nod for his son, Rand, or a possible presidential bid in the future.

I was going to vote for Paul. But, seeing as he is not a real contender at this point, I'll be voting for Romney, the lesser of two evils. Also, Rand Paul's endorsement of Romney takes a bit of the sting away. I do think Ron will lend his support to Romney just to keep a lot of his voters from using their votes for him, to inadvertently help keep Obama in office.

Even Ron Paul knows our Country can't survive another 4 years of Obama's socialist agenda.

Romney, obama, no difference, pauls message was about a complete restructuring of government, the next political manchurian candidate, same as the last.

This is certainly just an opinion, but don't vote for the lesser of the two evils. When you do, you are still voting for evil, and evil still wins.

My decision is made. At least Romney has experience in the Business sector of my Country. Obama is nothing more than a voice piece for an a agenda driven concept that would have us in as deep a hole as a lot of European Nations now.

I'm 61 years old. I've been on both sides of the counter in the work force. Owner and employee. I've never in my long years on this planet, seen such a dire and depressed economy as we have now. Obama for some reason thinks I should keep working until I'm 100 to help fund his socialist projects. Screw that!

Ahhh...but, the difference between these two evils, is one of them understands what our U.S. Constitution is, and respects it. The other does everything he can to erase it as fast as he can. I'm going with the one who still understands the principles my Country was built on. That alone makes him the lessor of two evils.

I like Paul, but douche is still douche even he endorses it. Voting for Romney just to get Obama out is a stupid reason to vote for him.

Romney's asset striping history will be useful experience when it comes to austerity in America. Prepare for your nation to be asset stripped.

What is stupid, is not doing everything in one's power to keep Obama from another term. Our Country can't take another 4 years of handouts to half the population, funded by the financially slipping other half. And being expected to fund an ever bloating government.

I'm done with the Pauls after Rand sold out, being a "team player" is what douche bag Santorum said he was and I detested him for it, same goes for Rand.
I have no hope of his country turning around, all we can do now is prepare ourselves for the imminent crash and chaos that is surely coming. We are not that far behind Europe.

Beside it doesn't matter who the Pauls endorse, Obama is not leaving it to chance, this is why Soros and his Spanish company are counting the electronic votes with no recount recourse.

It's all a sham, best thing to do is get prepared.

Ron Paul probably won't endorse Romney because he has stated that Romney is establishment and has no message or desire to change the system.

Rand Paul- has always supported wars, sucks up to the neocons, bad idea to get in bed with the devil.
Jesse Benton- obvious traitor, should be fired on the spot.
Ron Paul- Still a great man, but falling short as a leader, can not even get the obvious mole out of his campaign. Until that time Ron Paul is a philosopher and not a general.

Alex Jones- proved he will always place principle over politics even when he makes a mistake. No one will be tougher, the media will cower in fear. Alex Jones also hates the Nazis so any reference to him being a nazi will be foolish. The downside is, he has a large religious following, but that is what wins elections. The real problem though is he is unwilling.

Yes ma'm

This link has a video on it.

Some claim that Soros is not involved but there are so many ways to "launder" his involvement how would we know for sure. Anyway, with or without Soros being involved the fact that a foreign country has control of our election WITHOUT PAPER BALLOT TO RECOUNT should be enough to worry about.

This should be shouted by every newscaster in the country.

Here is a blog post from Ron Paul's own website...it clearly shows that Ron Paul has always been and always will be a loyal Republican...something his supporters aren't going to like. I'm pretty sure this is showing Ron Paul's hand that he will endorse Romney, probably right at the convention in front of all his supporters.

www.ronpaul2012.com...

When John Boehner was up for House Speaker, Ron Paul voted for him. The choice was between Boehner and Nancy Pelosi. Hardly a choice for liberty-minded people, but still, Dr. Paul chose Boehner without hesitation.
...
Is it possible that Dr. Paul could have simply refused to support Boehner, Hastert or Gingrich? Absolutely. But his message to the Republican Party is not that I’m against you. Indeed, Ron Paul is a member in good standing of the Republican Party. Ron Paul’s message is that he is against his party when it’s wrong.
...
Mitt Romney or Barack Obama will be the next president of the United States. Sen. Rand Paul’s endorsement of Romney is a message to the Republican Party that he’s with them.

I almost feel sorry for Ron Paul supporters...many of us have been telling you that Ron Paul will fall in line when the time comes...but none of you seemed to want to admit the truth of it.

I think Ron Paul will endorse Romney...because he is a REPUBLICAN...and like Rand said a few weeks ago...Ron Paul has brought a lot of new members INTO the party.

I agree. Being a "Team Player" is the problem in politics. Getting behind the "team" you want to win, even though you disagree 100% with their politics is what they want you to do. If Ron Paul endorses Romney, he will have lost ALL credibility in my eyes. Not that I was supporting him anyway, but if he endorses Romney, he'll show me just how much of a hypocrite he is.
