my theory, is that there is no way to view your own bio, or anybody else's!

its like it just doesn't exist.....

if you go to tools+ (the tab on ATS) you will see Basic Account Information

look down and you will see your Bio, under birthday.

you can write it out, submit it, and then nothing.

it will save and its always there, but it isn't the one people see on your profile, there isn't any other way to see it, and i have looked all over the place to find my submitted and finished bio, where other users can see it.

but nope.

it doesn't seem to be anywhere....

i made another very related thread about this before this one, and nobody seemed to know what they were talking about that much.....

can YOU uncover this mystery???

i honestly don't know, i have heard stories on ATS about mods secretly working with "they" you know, the secret people who know everything and rule the world, and supposedly like to spy on ATS or something, and some topics go missing.

i dunno lol.

i just didn't want them to get the idea that i thought they were doing something sneaky!

BUT my bio going missing (well never went missing, just never turned up in the first place)

IS kinda sneaky, freaky, and weird...

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Hah... so it doesn't.

Crazy, seems a wee bit redundant having space in the database for a bio, that never gets seen.

Maybe it's just an old throwback to how the forums used to be. I'm sure it used to be visible somewhere. But the forums have had a big makeover a few times, so I'm sure some code just gets left behind as it' might break things or make things harder to figure out should something break down the track.

Bit like how M$ write windows.. lol

Yes it did used to be visible... I'm pretty sure actually that it should appear under "More Stuff You Should Know", but it doesn't appear to be working.

So what is the theory?

I see an observation that you have pointed out, but what is the theory?

why is a bio important on a site where we're supposed to remain anonymous?

But... I can see mine... I think. Unless I am looking at the wrong thing???

Edited to add that I am looking at my extended profile. Move along folks... nothing to see here.

I did see it for a split second, but then it was covered up with an awesome pic that made me smile from ear to ear. Thank you. I needed that today.

The point is to collect the information. It makes the investigations easier.
