A couple of questions to those communist here that chose to not live in China,Cuba, etc because they don't consider them to b a TRUE communist society.

Your point is mute because those places are not communist period.

Cuba was never communist, and was never meant to be.

The revolution was to rid the island of the Batista regime, and the capitalist exploitation from America. The only reason the US called it communist is because they accepted help from Russia after America refused. That is what upset the US and started the embargoes, which are the real reason for Cuba's problems as they rely heavily on imports.

Fulgencio Batista

The Cuba problem has nothing to do with communism. They just didn't do what the US wanted, and that was to exploit the workers.

In fact the reason so called 'communist' countries were demonized was not because they were 'communist', they weren't, it was because they were economically isolationist. The Wests capitalists were hell bent on globalism and those countries, along with some middle eastern nations, stood/stand in the way. You see capitalism has to continually create new markets in the search for profit. The harder it is the make profit the more ruthless capitalism will be.

I felt this deserved its' own thread. There is a large amount of truth contained in the above-quoted post; truth which a lot of the American conservatives on this forum, are most likely not going to want to look at.

It's been known for a while now, by those of us who are paying attention, that the American government has been utilising a long line of false scapegoats and foreign bogeymen, in order to justify profit-generating wars. Communist Russia under Stalin was one of the first of these; currently, the scapegoat is Islam. I've read speculation that eventually, it's going to be extraterrestrials as the last one.

Part of the point of utilising these scapegoats, is that it gives the government the opportunity to get rid of literally anyone it doesn't like, simply by labelling said individuals as being affiliated with the scapegoat. So if the government didn't like you back in the 1950s, you were accused of being a Communist sympathiser. These days if the government doesn't like you, you'll be accused of being a potential terrorist or a Muslim. The name is the only thing that's really changed; apart from that, the con being used is exactly the same.

Hence, what has also been done to any country in the world which doesn't do what the American government thinks they should. They're either considered Communists, terrorists, or a "rogue state." You're not allowed to be autonomous, or exist outside of the globalist nightmare.

I recently read an article that Cuba was going to a more capitalistic approach overall. Their new system is one that I think all developed countries should use. It makes all life essential businesses (those industries that support life and that are necessary for living) fall under the control of the people, not private corporations. All other industries are given the freedom to be capitalists largely unregulated except where they interfere with the right of the people. I have no doubt, we haven't been told the truth about communism or capitalism. Certainly most countries are not a pure form of either. In fact in almost every country where the needs of many outweigh the needs of a few, it is acceptable to limit the freedom of those few to ensure the tranquility of everyone.

Fidel Castro is one of my heros. He is the only true great leader of our time.

Cuba is like a feel good movie or something. They beat America. Castro beat America.

I love The Bay of Pigs. The American Government has no shame and no honour.

They use a system that is very similar to Chinas State Capitalism( Chinese Socialism ). A hybrid of socialism and capitalism is the best way for the world to go. China has proven that with their amazing surge over the last couple decades and especially recently.

You secretly want to be American...that is very evident. Nobody that lives here complains about America as much as you. I understand that Aussies are decendents of criminals from the old British Empire, but good god, i would think your attitude would have been bred out by now...

Castro is a tyrant like all other commie leaders. We can't have nukes that close to our shores...at least not in 1963. We could now, our military would drop incoming ICBMs like it was target practice. You sure wouldnt want to be the poor b!$%@#d that fired them though. You would get the taste of Uncle Sams boot leather.

That's because of the increased prevalence of GMO food, vaccines, antidepressants, and chemtrails, in your country. Those of us living in other parts of the world, haven't yet been chemically pacified and sedated yet, to the same degree as Americans; so to some small extent, we're still able to resist.

Ha! As if.

Just because I hate your government with a passion and I am more informed in relation to it than 90% of the American Public doesnt mean I like you. I know my enemy.
I watch alot of Fox News too. I am also more infromed about our domestic politics than 90% of Australians. I am informed on Europe.......

Australia was settled by great free settlers like Peter Lalor. The Redcoat prisoners were English. Australia was born at Eureka Stockade. We have always been a wealthy free nation of Free Settlers. You attempt at an insult is pathetic. Simpsons fan?

And ohh. So hard. Dropping bombs
You Americans are so tough and scary arent you?
Like I said, no shame. No honour.

Your government are imperialists. Castro beat you. He also played America against the United States like a genius.

Batista was an imperial puppet. Castro is a hero not a tyrannt. I am not interested in what capitalist traitor Cubans that would involve themselves ina CIA plot like The Bay Of Pigs say about him. Castro is loved. Castro is loved for good reason. He is a hero.
