What are these planes doing? Are there any legit explanations? OR are these really chemtrails?

Vid by airliner pilot: www.youtube.com...

Vid by passenger: www.youtube.com...

Concealed vid recording on a involved company: www.youtube.com...

Lab tests on alleged residues, showing toxins and biological agents (could be from other sources than the actual chem/contrail): www.youtube.com...

What to make out of this? It looks in some extent something has been done. But this could done be under a contract or research project, in limited scale. However, we do know, high level airliner contrails do affect higher atmosphere, so this could be some level of prestudy or feasibility study of some sort going on. And thus not still wider conspiracy or of some sinister plan. On the other hand, the secrecy and avoidance in these topics, makes one wonder...

Lemme just save the debunkers some time here:

1. Youtube is not a legit source for anything
2. This is clearly CGI
3. Even if its not CGI, these are normal harmless contrails
4. Our government loves and cares for us and would never poison us
5. Quit asking so many damn questions

I don't know... The first two videos looks like planes dumping fuel so that they might be able to land on shorter runways. Happens all the time.
The third video with the interview almost disproves the whole Chemtrail conspiracy. Sounds like local municipalities are paying for cloud seeding. Not scary at all.

I was thinking the same thing about the first video only I've never seen a plane do it so have no idea what it looks like. The rainbowy type colouring might hint at fuel. Fuel does the same thing on the roads when it's wet and there is a small spill. Just a guess though

First video is by the known hoaxer "TankerEnemy".

Actually, not that he "hoaxes" videos specifically -- he merely mis-identifies and mis-categorizes normal occurrences, and calls them "chem-trails".

That particular one has made the rounds many times, and has been thoroughly explained here on ATS. It is a USAF KC-10 tanker in flight, being filmed from on-board another KC-10. It is NOT dumping fuel, nor anything else over-board. What is seen is nothing but condensation and atmospheric effects as it flies through thin cirrus clouds.

HERE is the thread about it:

I am an Environmental Engineer now and I have done a lot of work in remote areas away from automobiles and retail petroleum sites. You can detect unspent hydrocarbons in soil and ice samples from aircraft flying overhead. It's an unfortunate truth of the airplane business. I don't think all aircraft routinely do it but in certain circumstances it is done.

Second video IS (as some have already guessed) fuel dumping in progress.

It is a large Airbus airliner, either an A-330 or A-340......the wings of both of those jets are very similar....but the A-330 has only two engines, the A-340 has four engines.

The dumping of fuel is only necessary when an unscheduled landing needs to be made sometime shortly after take-off, due to some irregularity or emergency situation.

For large Jumbo Jets the take-off weights are usually well above the maximum landing weight limits. This is normal, and on normal flights the fuel weight is reduced by using ('burning') the fuel en-route to destination, so as to arrive at that destination at or below maximum landing weight limit.

Somewhere on YouTube I've seen that same footage, but identified properly (by the person who filmed it, the passenger) as a fuel dump situation, with a full explanation, flight number, airline, etc....(will try to find) (**)

(**) Here....this is NOT the same flight, but it IS an Airbus A340 (you can see Engine #1 outboard....therefore, the other video from the OP is shot on-board an A-330 two-engine airliner).

This another interesting vid on military use, in this case from Germany: www.youtube.com...

Perhaps this could have a sort of tactical use, i.e. using clouds to block space based or high-altitude surveillance?

Video number 3 is also hilarious....and has been discussed before here on ATS.

The maker of the video simply visited a well-known atmospherics company that does, as one aspect of their business, cloud seeding work on demand, when contracted to do so.

Cloud seeding activities are NOT "chem-trails".

Period.

The maker of that video apparently was just completely uneducated on the concept, and the science....

The other use: Acting like the electrolyte in a car battery, barium chemtrails developed at Ohio's Wright Patterson Air Force Base are routinely sprayed into the atmosphere to "duct" or bend military radio and radar waves over-the-horizon, instead of continuing straight beyond the Earth's curvature into space.

Video number 4 ALSO has been discussed, and debunked here on ATS.

Typical small-town type of "reporting" by people who know nothing about what spews from their pie-holes, on TV. The local station in Louisiana, KSLA (Shreveport).

The "tests" are full of inaccuracies, and misrepresentations (especially the levels of "barium").

Read all about it here:

That is the whole point. We need to sort out apples and pies.

Since basically, I believe there are some specific, and dedicated uses for limited scale chemtrails - i.e. the military use for various purposes (such as bending radar signals), as well as wider scale chemtrails, e.g. for for creating cloud cover to limit high resolution space/high-altitude imagery.

I need to add here, the normal contrails from inter-continental flights do have a cooling effect to the climate. So, some research on those lines could take place as well.

And then, we might have also some other programs and testing - but yet in a limited scale.

Need to add also: excellent answers so far folks!

Completely untrue......yet another false "urban legend" made up by those who continue to promote the hoax and fantasy of "chem-trails":

...barium chemtrails developed at Ohio's Wright Patterson Air Force Base are routinely sprayed into the atmosphere to "duct" or bend military radio and radar waves over-the-horizon...

it is not an airliner pilot - it is a USAF KC-10 tanker Flight engineer, and the contrails are "aerodynamic" - they are caused by the decrease in pressure on top of the wing resulting in that packet of air no longer being able to disolve all eth moistuer in it - so the moisture condenses out.

Vid by passenger: www.youtube.com...

fuel dumping - IIRC thsi particular video is of a Spanish Airliner in the last couple of years that had to make an emergency return to Madrid?? It's been seen before.

Concealed vid recording on a involved company: www.youtube.com...

Weather Modification limited is a perfectly non-secret commercial organisation that does cloud seeding. While the video was secretly recorded there is actually no reason why it had to be - you can go to their website and find out al the same info, if you ask nicely you can probably talk to them and ask them the same questions! Here's their FAQ page

Lab tests on alleged residues, showing toxins and biological agents (could be from other sources than the actual chem/contrail): www.youtube.com...

As you say - there is no information offered on the actual sources of the contaminant - dust blows in the wind, as do all sorts of organic residues, fecal matter, germs, etc.

Every time someone shows a "lab test" showing "high" levels of aluminium or barium, etc., actual checking against reality shows that hte levels are not high at all - often the people are testing the sludge off the bottom of a jar or tank or pond and saying the test result is the amount of the contaqminnat in the water - when it is clearly not - it is eth composition of the DIRT that is the sludge. And that is why we purify our drinking water!!

What to make out of this?

Mostly ignorance. In some cases deliberate deception. all of it disinfo.

Many of these exact cases have ben examined already and found wanting - have a look here for some detailed analysis of them, history of chemtrails and links to studies.

I will tell you that the Military has and always will pursue the ability to control the weather over their enemy..... HAARP?? NOT!!! Just kidding. I like the over the horizon radar concept though, plausible.

Could be untrue (this barium spray), really do not know at this point - but that sort of thing for me as such makes sense - and is legit too.

This is so minimal as to be virtually unnoticeable:

I need to add here, the normal contrails from inter-continental flights do have a cooling effect to the climate.

Note, even in your sentence, the term "inter-continental flights".....that applies to a very, very, very small percentage of the total surface area of the planet Earth! A small fraction. And, contrails do NOT form every day, all day either.

Take a look at just how much of the Earth's surface is never affected by air traffic and thus, contrails:

Sorry, wrong again:

This another interesting vid on military use, in this case from Germany...

Once more, that is more crap from so-called "TankerEnemy"....a prodigious charlatan on the Internet.

The original German news broadcast uses the word "duppel"....that means chaff.....the "translation" in the subtitles added by "TankerEnemy" are a flat-out lie....the word "chemtrail" does not exist, except in the imagination of those who push that hoax.

Find someone who speaks fluent German, and have them listen to the newscaster's words.

Here, read this:

contrailscience.com...

Moral: Do not believe anything posted on the Internet by "TankerEnemy". Of course, if you wish, you can find and visit his website by the same name, and see there that he is trying to make a profit off of this nonsense.

Judge his motives accordingly.

Oh, and judge this, too: ON his YouTube videos.....most have "Comments Disabled" (always a red flag). Or, if you bother to post to one that is not "Disabled", then every comment is "Pending Approval". If he doesn't like what you write (in other words, if you don't bow and kiss his feet), then your comments are never posted, and you are forever "Blocked" from future posts.

Summarising:
1-2) Fuel dumps (fact)
3) Local community based cloud / ice crystal creation (normal legit business)
4) Barium spray potentially for military use (speculative)

Adding to this: potential science and military research (e.g. Nasa and other studies, cloud coverage and radar bending - potentially)
