It addresses it with freedom and absence of government protection for the politically connected crony corps! The huge disparity in wealth has been caused but government intervention into the free market stifling fair competition and protecting markets for politically connected cronies.

The proof is in the pudding free markets created the most wealthy prosperous nation on earth with the highest standard of living for the most people from 1798 to 1913 and beyond despite its many flaws. That is not even arguable. Why do people ignore history?

Well communism is socialist. Anarchism is socialist. But socialism is not necessarily communist, nor anarchist.

Socialism is a path to communism IF the society decides to go in that direction. You can't force socialism, nor communism. You can't go from capitalism to communism without first establishing socialism.

In other words you can't have the communal ownership, and free distribution of resources, without the workers owning the means of production.

If those of you who keep arguing against this definition of socialism/communism actually read Marx, and other historical left-wing publications, you would realise how wrong you are. Don't try to tell me you have, I know you haven't. This is obvioulsy not your intellect being challenged here, it's your social conditioning.

No I am not communist, but I did register as one in 1990 just in case they were going to start drafting people. They don't put communists on the front line.

Communism is the perfect form of government......for ANTS!! Humans differ from person to person so it will never work for us. One size just does not fit all for people. The only people who have ever been half successful at communism is the jews. They love their kibbutzes and enjoy being like that. But even for them it only works in small groups, not whole nations.

It's so sad that somebody can lose their family, friends and significant other over something as trivial as having certain ideological beliefs. I realise that to many people ideological belief is an important factor when deciding who to befriend or associate with, but I personally don't see it as such a big deal. As long as you are not an Extremist of any sort, I do not have a problem with your beliefs.

Sorry about your family, I don't even discuss politics with mine as they are very conservative (typical religious right wing) and they just get upset when I say something.

I can relate Comrade.

It is great to see a guy stand for what he believes in.

The people of the West have been brainwashed. These morons are ignorant and blind. Look at the United States for example. The country is a complete hell hole,loser of a dysfunctional nation, yet they still want to make jokes about communsim.

China has a hybrid. State Capitalism is the most successful model out there. China has proven that pure capitalism is utter stupidity. The United States National Debt proves that capitalism is moronic.

China will be the superpower soon. They bring communism. State Capitalism is Chinese Socialism and when they become sole superpower very soon, they will run the world in a more socialist fashion. You are correct. People making lame jokes about Cuba have no idea in any way shape or form.

I am sorry to hear about your relationship. There are plenty of hot socialist/communist chicks in the sea.

Your argument is simply "I don't like what you believe so STFU and get out". Doesn't sound like you value freedom of thought much to me.

Sorry your familly and friends dumped on you for having different political beliefs. As long as you don't try to force your beliefs on them it should be a live and let live world. Really makes your friends look closed minded, your better off without them.

he doesn't just have an idea he actively joined a party that believes in taking away my freedoms. I wasn't attacking him I asked a valid question. Why try to convert a country that its MAJORITY is against such ideas versus simply moving to a country that embraces his ideas? Why is that so bad to ask ?

I didn't tell him to STFU and I'm not against opposing views or looking at things differently (actually I enjoy hearing all sides or arguments). I simply asked a question and I didn't tell him to GTFO. Why was asking a question so offensive? Its sounds more like you are trying to tell me to STFU because you didn't like my question?

I don't know, why do Christians go out and convert people? You are just trying to excuse your rude behavior. Freedom entails the right of people to organize for the cause of their choice. It's pretty obvious you just see this guy as the enemy without even having a grasp on what he believes. Then again, if he's the minority you don't have to worry about him do you?
