This would be a really good idea. It would enable us voters and less aware citizens to identify who we are supporting and what corporate sponsors are backing each elected or appointed official. Banks, unions, airlines, manufacturers and more, all with their names and logos displayed on each politician for the country to see.

Can you imagine a scene where you are watching a politician or the president on the tube and their plastered in patches similar to the guy below.

Example suit with corporate logos:

Talk about informed decisions...sure wouldn't leave much room for argument or trying to manipulate the people into believing one thing or another. Maybe we should start a petition, it wouldn't surprise me if it got plenty of signatures.

capitalism at work. everything is for sale, including the senate and the presidency.

i think if george washington, thomas jefferson and benjamin franlkin were alive and saw how corrupted the country they started has become they'd start the second american revolution.

those guys were true patriots.

Ahh yes, I just saw Jesse Ventura propose that on Piers Morgan. I think it's brilliant.

I like the idea but I fear it would be opening the door for the corporations.

I like it, but say NO!!

Brilliant ! Then, instead of voting, we can all just by the gear (collect 'em all).

And on Sunday afternoons forevermore we can watch the lobbyists rotate their policies in pit row.

Good to have these things out in the open.

It's so funny that it's been remarked before. Like today:

What If Congressmen Wore Uniforms Like NASCAR Drivers Which Identifies All Their Corporate Sponsors?

And a few years ago

Congress Should Wear T-Shirts With Endorsements: Caroline Baum

And on Jon Stewart but I can't find the link.

Come on people, quit posting email forwards to ATS

Funny you would mention that. I was thinking the same thing just today.

How do we go about getting this implemented?

The clothes / suit would be made entirely of patches.... not a spec of clothing would be seen!

Brilliant idea!
