Answer: With money.

Question: Who can contribute the most money and buy the most candidates?
Answer: Corporations

Question: How can you control where the money goes?
Answer: Own the corporations.

Question: How can you own corporations?
Answer: Start your own venture cap company like Bain Capital or Perseus, LLC, and buy the companies.

Let's reverse engineer how Obama became POTUS. In 2004 he ran for Senate. The fundraising arm of his campaign was known as Obama for Illinois.

Here is a small sampling of the contributors to Obama for Illinois back in 2004. Make sure to use the scroll bar to scroll horizontally. Make special note of Frank Pearl, Chairman of Perseus, LLC. This shows you who TPTB are:

Note the number of investment banks that put their money on Obama back in 2004 when he was running for Senate. Obama's 2008 Presidential campaign didn't begin in 2007. It began in 2004, and was coordinated and financed by the people who invested in Obama for Illinois.

Is it really surprising that Obama was in bed with big Pharma? Obama's investors own big Pharma. The same people who own the healthcare companies own Obama. Do you own research on the investments made by Perseus, LLC. It's easy.

These people ARE TPTB. They own both horses in the race, Romney and Obama.

The corporations are not the problem.

TBTP who own and control investment banks that own the corporations are the problem.

They control the corporations through private investment companies, hedge funds, and venture cap funds. These are the people that control the government, the media, the entertainment industry, and the banks.

Obama was plucked from obscurity and put in the White House by TPTB. Romney IS TPTB.

Perseus LLC is at the center of the web. No coincidence they are named after Perseus, slayer of Medusa. It's no secret their goal was to keep Hillary Clinton from winning the nomination in 2008.

Really? Let's explore that logical fallacy in that thinking.

Obama created "Obama for Illinois" to raise money to run for the Senate. He solicited contributions. Those who contributed are shown on the chart. They wanted to support the Obama election, and many were principles in organizations with the money and influence to help Obama win in 2008. This is what they all had in common.

People at a charity golf tournament go there to golf, socialize, and perhaps support the charity.

So both situations involved people supporting a cause.

The point of the OP is that the people supporting both the Obama cause and the Romney cause are the same people. They are private investment companies that own the corporations that donate the money to the campaigns.

Yes, I just find the whole thing kind of anti climactic. Seeing as though it is no secret politicians raise money to campaign for their positions. And it is no surprise that there are corporate backers to different campaigns.

Do a search on the people you listed and you will find donations to multiple people across party lines over the years. And you will probably see some PAC donations as well. But this isn't really groundbreaking or earth shattering. Where did you think politicians got their money for a campaign?

As I said, it could just as easily be the roster for a charity golf tournament...

That's exactly my point really. You can take anyone that controls a corporation with marketcap of over a billion, or simply take the Forbes 500 list and make fancy charts that connect like spiders all over the place.

It doesn't really tell you anything. Out of all the people who have donated, sponsored or supported an elected official, it is not even guaranteed that they realized anything out of their investment.

Hence, you will see support conflict or cross party lines sometimes.

In some cases, that is just a door to build a relationship, but it does give us a concrete explanation as to the motives behind elected officials. Now say if you had a hidden microphone at a charity golf event, or in the oval office, or someone's bedroom... You might just get the actual story.
