Russia’s new Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky believes the body of the Bolshevik Revolution leader – Vladimir Lenin – should be committed to the ground, while the Mausoleum should become a museum.
Medinsky pointed out that in his opinion, every person should be laid to rest as it has been the rule since the beginning of time. rt.com...
Or how about the political prisoners he killed for believing what 70 years later was proven (i.e. communism is wrong).

I think the decision should be made by any family he may have alive and according to his faith.
Regardless of whomever the dead person is and what they have done in life, I believe they have the right to rest in peace without making a socio-political mockery of it.
Adding communism or whatever into the situation shows a lack of respect for the dead by us, the living, then anything else.

Actually Lenin was a Marxist. It's a little bit different than the standard definition of communism.
Sure, he was an atheist, but his family was Russian Orthodox. I am simply trying to say that his family should be the one to make this sort of decision.
Your personal feelings, or other's, towards Lenin or communism/Marxism should have no bearing whatsoever on what is done with his body.
Am I the only one here that thinks this is common sense?
Germanicus When was that proven exactly?
If you’ve been living in the US over the last 30 years, chances are you’ve only ever known a corporate dictatorship, mixed with capitalism, whilst trying to market itself as demonocracy.
And how are you enjoying Late Capitalism?
He's a famous dictator –famous (in part) for murdering people of religious faith, thereby proving atheists can be just as bad, as any religious fanatic.
Juanxlink Not that I like-d the man, but, what made you go out of your way to come here and bash a dead guy?
So you are so small-minded, that you don’t have any thoughts, any opinion, or any stands on other nations affairs yourself?
I also see you taking stance on others nations political affairs, how is that working out? I guess it ties with the OP right?
