This is what's going to happen in Syria, and maybe Jordan and Lebanon. IRAN!

After Gaddafi, Libya splits into disparate militia zones

Libya's third largest city, recipient of a six-month pummelling during last year's revolution against the regime of Muammar Gaddafi, has transformed itself into what is an independent state in all but name. Libya is due to hold national elections in 10 days, but these look like they may be delayed as any sense of post-Gaddafi national unity dissipated long ago.

Misrata is divorced from the new government, which it views as secretive, dictatorial and heavy-handed, and, as a city with a long tradition of trading, is going its own way. Shops and restaurants are being fixed up, business is brisk, and there is enough traffic on the pockmarked streets to create honking traffic jams.

The most serious challenge to central authority is Benghazi, where the revolution began in February last year. Like Misrata, Benghazi held its own elections earlier this year, and like Misrata the city council is busy assuming powers for itself at the expense of central government.

Some parts of this piece seem like sensationalist propaganda, but what is accurate is the state Libya was left in after the vacuum created by Gaddafi's departure.

Leave it to the good ol' US of A to make things right...for their money making interests. We can't stand to let those countries take care of their selves.

Expect something like this to possibly happen in Syria. Of course, don't believe everything you hear coming out of there.

It's really no wonder why the world hates us, especially the Arab world, and soon the Persian world, don't confuse them!

TPTB remove dictators because the dictators hold their country together.

Now that Libya has fallen apart it is ready to be easily integrated into the NWO as one of the supernations or 10 horns as spoken of in the book of Daniel.

For proof, simply remember Saddam Hussain and how his power stopped his country going into civil war. Look at Iraq now with the unstable country falling apart into 3 smaller parts with the Kurds, Shiites and Sunnis.

Libyian oil will easily pay for the 'help' given to them by the west who caused the mess in the first place.

Obviously Gaddafi Did NOT AGREE with the NWO Map when he spoke with the elite on Sky News.

A world order dictated by the west may come of all of this, but I think for now, it's about getting the maximum profiting off other countries resources, and doing it with a "high moral authority".

First off...

In all actuality it wasn't the "good ol' US of A" that was mostly involved. It might help your argument if you bothered to do a little research on the real facts and see which countries were actually the most involved in the Libya situation. I'll toss you a few bones. The UK, France, Italy and of all countries, Canada. So before you go spewing your nonsense and pointing fingers you should really look into the facts of what you're attempting to write about.

Secondly...

I highly doubt you're an American. If you are, then all you have done is prove the stereotypical view of Americans as being ignorant of international affairs as true.

I see an agenda at work here.

Conversely, one shouldn't believe everything written here either...

Ok, it's a western attack on the ME. Happy? It's the US and her trading partners that stand to profit from this action.

Also, I'm American, F*** YEAH!

You're the one that's not American. Because you're so smart!

You can't trick me smarty pants.

Why are you so snide? You could have just as easily pointed out that it wasn't merely just the US that was involved. But now you are derailing my submission as "HE'S NOT AMERICAN" and "HE HAS AN AGENDA"

You got something else you want to get off your chest?

As far as the split in Libya sounds like the makings of a possible two party system. [wouldn't be the first time] All isn't as grim as some might try to spin it as being....

Just saying is all.

perhaps the Libyans shouldn't have kept a leader they knew had a date with Death.

some guy manufacturers a fake state and holds it together with intimidation and violence and then everyone is shocked to learn that the state he created was artificial and can not stand on its own.

what will be will be.

no tears here.

Too many times have I read about the "evil empire" of the Untied States.

I always wonder why,we didn't plant our flag on EVERYTHING,every Country, every village, every person. Its so ridiculous to think this.

You want to know why? Cause its really is a pipe dream, for those who hate the U.S. Its the ONLY thing they can think of,to rationalize their reasons,as to make their BS,right. Its getting OLD.

One way or the other, you're either lying or you have no clue what you're talking about. Maybe there are multiple people controlling your account, and you guys can't get your story straight? I think there is an agenda at foot...

Just walk away.

I have a question for you…

When the good old US of A gets what it has coming (I expect you believe the US should be punished for all of the atrocities around the world) what will you do?? Will you expect all the people you distain and slander to come to your rescue? Will you flee to the utopia of your choice?

Isn’t it a bit hypocritical to bash America from the comfort of….America? How do you live with yourself for continuing to take part in American society after all of the atrocities your country has committed (according to you)?? If it’s so bad why do you stay here? Why not lead by example and flee in protest?

I wont answer for him. Ill answer for the rest, who criticize America on a daily. Its an easy answer, really. They are hoping and praying for America to fall, any means necessary. They believe America is this boot stomping, flag dropping, conquistadors, killing everything in their path. Even the civilians of America, because the believe EVERYONE that's American,is either compliant,or guilty of it. And guess what? They cant complain, like they do,in Iran. In North Korea. In every despot ruled Country. They have a voice here, but they chose to use their voice, for bashing, cause its EASY to do. The Anarchist,Socialist, those wanting to transform America into the very things our forefathers fought for. They wont admit it,of course, cause they don't want to be ridiculed for their agendas. They don't want to be called out for their agendas. They dont want the bulls-eye on them. They want it,on their made up conspiracy of permanent American flags, controlling EVERY country. It fits the perpetual lie, being made, every day. GTFO if you don't like it. When I hear,"American troops are cowards",it truly makes me sick, and yes,Ive heard that here on ATS. America isn't perfect, but their are those willing to fight,to fix the imperfections. Bashing at EVERY turn, wont accomplish that. They need to "find" their Utopia, someplace else.

Rant off.............

Obama: In Libya, U.S. ‘led from the front'

"I see an American Century because no other nation seeks the role that we play in global affairs, and no other nation can play the role that we play in global affairs," Obama said.

An American Century eh? now where i have heard that before?

Because it's the truth, I will not lives for lies that breeds manifest destiny. You can't make me me BS. Even if we did get ran over (By whom?) I'd fight tooth and nail for what I think is right. Some people might have a problem with that, like the people that would want to take you over, and ESPECIALLY the people that govern you.

It's not hypocritical at all, to get on your knees and bow your head into a pile of filth. My morals aren't lock step with what " 'Merica" says it should be. Which America? Your 'Merica? The Dems 'Merica? The Reps. 'Merica? The Globalist's 'Merica?

How do I deal with being in an American society that commits acts so acrocious that you assume, "You can't deal with living in society."? I deal with my grievances with the government the same way people everywhere deal with things they don't like but live with.

Do everything I can do to separate myself from it.

Don't like your mother-in-law? Avoid her as much as possible. Don't like eating brussel sprouts? Hold your nose. Don't like the policies of your nation? Then speak out about it. No one nation can force someone to think and act some way in perpetuity. It's never going to happen, but they will try.

America was founded on people that didn't enjoy the establishment. DEAL WITH IT.

I don't feel like America should be punished, but I do feel that America is going to have problems in the future because we've got half the world reaching for our necks. Something is going to happen eventually. Maybe it will happen to Israel, the 51st state of the union.

Let me ask you something. If the modern conception of Israel was never actualized, where would we be today? Would the ME have gotten their act together well enough that they would have been a threat to the west? Would they have blown themselves up and the oil along with them?

It may have happened, but I'm not going to judge them for something that didn't happen.

What is going on now IS what is happening.

The US and western forces are balkanizing countries in the Middle East under the guise of fighting for freedom, liberty, the safety of Israel, and to fight terrorism (and soon, militant extremists, which we bred)

What it's actually for is oil, and lucrative dealings with the resources in mind, and taking those deal out of the hands of non-western economic allies.

When we give Israel $30bn so it can fortify itself, we do it with one thing in mind: The payout is going to be well worth it.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out what's going on. All you need is a brain? We will continue to engage the countries in the ME through subterfuge and skulduggery until another country puts it's foot down. Do I need to look into my crystal ball to say which countries those might be?

Of course there's a difference. Anyways, what was different before the last 60 years? What changed?

Last time i checked Russia,Iran,Pakistan,Turkey,Qatar,Saudi were using "subterfuge and skulduggery" and someone sitting there trying to blame the west for what others are doing is disingenous.

Nope the middle east has hated the west for decades and that mess was made by Britian and France.
