Psychic Competition

It's funny, I -do- believe. I am a huge believer when it comes to the paranormal, and the reason other people don't believe is because the serious tests are lost among silly stuff like this that is half posted as a joke.

Proposing this idea because everything else is boring doesn't make this exciting. If it were two people facing off shooting energy balls at each other, heck, I'd pay you for a ticket. But that's not what this is.

If you are a paranormal enthusiast you should -want- everything to be serious and logical. There has been a good 30+ years of feel good new age hocus pocus in bookstores and on TV, and 20 years of individuals sharing and building upon their paranormal delusions and fantasies on the internet, and then legitimizing them by the sheer number of people who listen and repeat it.

Any discussion that comes from that kind of fluff just strengthens it, and it does not benefit us.

Not happening. The people you would like to see "prove themselves" have no inclination to "fight" anyone, and for the most part, they are not competeitive by nature.

No need for this to get heated. Quite frankly, the thread threatens nothing. The damage has already been done over the years by those who are influential and in the public eye. We both have the same agenda, proving/studying/experimenting with the paranormal. It's just a matter of what the most effective approach is.

well there you go, this is my most effective approach, you got something better go make a thread about it.

I once got bored watching Robert DeNiro on the tonight show back in the middle of the 2000's when i got bored and decided to concentrate and make Robert Deniro # up his next few sentences by getting in his head and taking his words from him so that he couldn't speak! Well I focused and as I did he started to to act like he couldn't speak or say what he wanted to for about 5 -7 seconds as I tested my abilities and then he turned to the camera and said,"You took my words from me!" I was tripped out then, #ing amazing, does anyone recall this moment from years ago? If you do then you will know that it was me, I need someone to ask Robert DeNiro to recall this moment to the public so everyone will know that it is real. Can anyone help me on this one?
