USS Enterprise possibly under attack [updated]

Yes i think ITS A HOAX perfect for this particular date
the op propably saw a thread Saying USS attacked june 8 to remember USS Liberty
he probably though that a US ship was just attacked today
but realise it was an attack that happened 45 yrs ago
decided to test the ATS audience to see how long he can play with us
and have all our reactions to this attack that could potentialy lead to the big WW3

CNN would have jumped breaking new VERY QUICK
even if it was a tiny explosion in the kitchen injuring a few
they would have reported it on the new right away

someone on his FB page has claimed that she had it confirmed by a maj. gen.

While I'm not saying that an attack couldn't happen. Totally possible.

Why would the navy respond, they have better things to do.

They have an entire Public Relations department, and one of their main tasks is quashing stupid rumors. You'd think in the past 3-4 hours, with Twitter ablaze, and FB, and the conspiracy sites, they are surely getting calls from the MSM trying to get the first scoop.

They have to be completely ignoring the rumor for now, so why would they do that?

i wasn't trying to compare anything i was just stating that thinking that the carrier fleet will not be attacked because it would be too dangerous is exactly what happened at pearl harbor......however i see your point

I just spoke to my nephew, who has been in the Navy for 12 years now. He is usually on the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan but is home for a while now. He said he hadn't heard a darned thing about this. Either he can't talk, or he is sincere and knows nothing.

Please note that the original tweets and posts were over 10 hours ago. Wouldn't that be enough time for us to hear something if it were true?

Again, please hope that this is just bunk. Too many American lives have been lost over there already.

if it was, we would know by now, since were assuming it would be used as a false flag, theyd prolly have it plastered all over the news by now.

Besides, iran wont attack the US navy for no reason. Now that Ruissia and China are willing to attack the US, im sure they are waiting for the US to strike or till they have a nuke and take out half the US navy in one shot. Atleast that would seem the logicall route.

According to the schedule published online by the Navy the Enterprise left the Persian Gulf on Jun 5th to start its return trip to Norfolk Va where it will be decomissioned later this year.
