Thought I'd share this video of Lee Speigel being interviewed over the U.N. UFO Proposal. For those who don't know, Speigel is the guy who put together the dossier on UFOs which was presented on Grenadas behalf. Included in the presentation were talks from Stanton Friedman, Jacques Valles, J. Allen Hynek and Larry Coyne who, whilst piloting a helicopter on duty, encountered a UFO which apparently managed to pull the helicopter vertically. It was also reported by witnesses on the ground:

Not surprised to learn that the U.K. and U.S. governments tried to stop the presentation, unsuccessfully. Another thought I had whilst listening to this was, could Eric Gainey really have been over thrown for his zealousness in bringing this to the worlds attention?

More than 40 years ago, the UN General Assembly adopted UN decision 33/426 which invited "interested member states" to undertake UFO research on a national level and to inform the secretary general about their findings. In this interview, Exopolitics Germany coordinator Robert Fleischer talks with US-journalist Lee Speigel about his personal involvement in that United Nations decision - it was actually him who had brought leading UFO experts together to present their findings at the UN Special Political Committee, supporting Grenada's Prime Minister Sir Eric Gairy in his initiative to bring the subject to the attention of the world. However, as British and German government files recently revealed, Grenada's UFO initiative wasn't welcome at all and certain parties tried to prevent it by any means... Would be great to actually see a copy of the video presented, UFOs - The Credibility Factor, if you have a copy let me know.

Glad you enjoyed it mate and from someone who has been checking this stuff out for a while now, you will notice (if you haven't already), that this subject is deliberately being kept under wraps and constantly played down by TPTB.

Oh yes - I've seen enough to know that! I've seen a UFO, so for myself, I know its a reality. I can understand a government not wanting to admit its airspace is regularly invaded by unknown craft. I can also understand people in high places wanting to keep their pet industries stable and safe despite new technologies. I don't like it, but I understand some of the motivations.

I find it interesting that the men in the helicopter felt their lives were in danger and that's why they were allowed to tell their story - I'm sure it was frightening to the point of terror, but what really happened? They were lifted up rapidly. They were released from the green light. No one died. The helicopter was fine. I get the sense that it really could have gone the other way if our visitors had so desired - but they didn't. It seems when 'they' flex their technological muscles it is to show us they can control our military if they like, and stop our nuclear devices (as has been mentioned in many stories I've heard). To what end? That is the question...

LS implied that we might be welcomed into the galactic community if we stopped solving problems with warfare and started working things out peacefully. There are so many different opinions on this, with the basic polarization of "aliens are bad and will hurt/kill/take over our planet/ etc." or "aliens are good and they will bring new technology and wonders to our planet, helping us to create an earth-utopia." It is confusing to say the least.

I thought you did a terrific job in posting this, it was informative and I gleaned a bunch of information from those two videos.
Can't understand why only 5 flags though, so many main topic posts display personal sightings of a few specs in the air which is not very interesting for seasoned ufo's enthusiasts.

Keep posting these types of videos because they are interesting even if they are viewed from years back, it is great to go over them again, because it is historical significant! WAy to Go!!!!

Thanx for the compliment mate and yeah, it's a good vid, ain't it?

There is lot of pretty important points discussed in it I feel, I figure anybody who knows about the U.N. Resolution on UFOs will check it out and despite the fact it was some 40 years ago, it's a great insight into how it was with UFOs in those days.

Hey, everyone...I want to thank you for all the interesting posts you wrote here about the United Nations UFO event which I produced back in 1978 -- it seems like forever ago AND like it was just yesterday that we did it. That whole year was filled with eye-opening meetings I attended at the UN and my travels around the country gathering the written materials we distributed to member nations and the media at the final presentation in November of that year. My relationship with Grenada's Prime Minister Eric Gairy was often tainted by his own agenda at the UN, while my agenda was to simply put on the best presentation I could with the best speakers I lined up. It was so interesting putting it all together that year, and never knowing at the time that the U.S. State Dept. was carefully watching what we were doing (as I later learned in 1979 from a formerly classified document obtained by Attorney Peter Gersten. An amazing time, indeed, and I was proud to be part of it.

If that is indeed you, then I commend the work you put into it .

Two things, can I just ask, do you think Gairy was only interested in bringing this topic to the U.N. in order to highlight some other issues he had or do you believe he had genuine interest in the UFO subject?

Secondly, would it be possible at all, to see the video presentation you done?

If you are indeed who you say you are provide some proof.

No disrespect but its summer and trolls are on the loose lately.

If you would be so kind to provide some kind of irrefutable evidence about who you claim you are we can continue this conversation.
