In what way? They themselves in the documents uncovered, say that there IS a circle there. So.. how is it a scam? Usually scams don't work in a way that costs you tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars up front (estimates have them spending 1 million U.S. for the operation), and you hope to make it up in t-shirt sales in 3 days.

Hope im wrong but ill bet 5 virtual bux that they will say they cant reveal the location, the authorities want them escorted, they cant take or remove any part of what they find etc.

I'm quite willing to suspend judgement for now, but I smell a rat!

This all seems so "choreographed". It is like they are just feeding the gullible. This is a perfect example of everything that is wrong with modern ufology.

People are so wanting to have affirmation of their beliefs that they will buy into every story out there that holds the vaguest possibility of doing just that.

What good would that do them? So they invest all that money to make the dive, and then they just hush it up.. can't say anything.. and go on with their lives? What would be the point? I doubt they've made any sort of profit from this venture.

And I doubt but a very select group actually believes that is a UFO. I believe in UFOs, but I don't believe THAT is a UFO. Saying it's a hoax is ridiculous. Hmm.. let's blow a million bucks on a hoax just for the fun of it? A scam would make more sense, but again.. unless they make a solid profit, what scam are you suggesting they are carrying out?

You really have no way of knowing if any of this is true, unless you are there and with the guys. I think 90% of this story is total fabrication, but even that is just a guess based on my instincts (my BS meter is in overdrive on this one). You have no real idea whether they are even out there on the Baltic as they claim.

I`m still trying to figure out how they are going to charge people to go for a ride on their tourist sub to see the alien anomoly unless they have a real good prop on the seabed. Maybe this is the latest `pseudo-reality ride`by Euro-Disney.

Hoax? Of what?

I think they're likely just hush-hush on whatever it is they saw while they market the video to interested parties like Discovery Channel. That's not a hoax. Its just business. Investors in the project want to get their money back I'm sure. Revealing details would undermine their ability to sell the documentary footage.

I don't doubt that they're being coy on purpose. Its not worth money unless the outcome is a mystery.

While I'm very excited to see what this anomaly actually is, I tend to think it's geological in nature ..

I think the "trail" we see is sediment on the sea floor which moves loosely along the bottom.. As currents push the sediment along, this formation is in the way so some of it is blocked as it moves along causing the "trail" you see in the images.. There's really nothing in those images that suggest to me that this is anything other than natural.. In my mind this is just some type of rock formation that is eroding away.. perhaps even volcanic in my opinion.. volcanic rock can sheer off and have straight lines like these..

As much as I'd love it to be some crashed UFO, and while I can see why some would think that given the "trail" and the round shape.. all I see is what appears to be an awesome geological formation.. gotta love this planet we live on for creating such things.

And just to add to the sediment trail idea .. I've been reading up a lot on the Titanic given it's recent anniversary and they were discussing sediment as being something they are worried about eventually burying the wreck .. sediment is a very loose material and it flows with currents.. so it's my opinion that is what is causing that trail appearance.. imagine a wind tunnel with smoke blowing over a car to test aerodynamics .. the smoke goes around the object.. as we see here.. yes I know sediment isn't smoke, but it's the same basic principle

I found a what cuold be a ufo burried in the ground near some slag. I just need 150,000 dollars to buy a used excavator. 500 dollars for nice camera, 15000 for my years mortgage. Trust me. Cheap webpage coming.

Message me and donate your money. I promise I wont profit. I will send you some small pictures after. Wish me luck.

UPDATE- Just posted on ATS, waiting for money. The ufo seems to be sinking into the ground. The ground shakes at midnight nightly and the colours on my tv are off now.

Update - Government officials showed up in black SUVs and demanded to see the site. I refused. They will be back. Need money to put up fence. Send Send.

From their web site:

2012-06-07
BREAKING NEWS 2pm, The divers are now down and investigating the circle and reports from the ship say they are really amazed. There is definitely something unusual hiding at the seabed – a Mystery Beneath. More information and pictures will be released next week.

Okay, next week is here and yet no update.

So the divers are (were) really amazed AND "something unusual is hiding at the seabed".

If it's hiding, how do they know it's unusual ?

The suspense is underwhelming ! 😳😳

So do you have proof and #'s about exactly how much they have received for this project from anyone? Or are you just going on baseless speculation? Hmm.. when I visit their site, I see none of the nonsense you posted. I can't even find a link to donate money if I wanted to do so. For a site and group that is trying to scam folks, they are not very good at it.

As far as an update, I believe they said Tuesday, so perhaps we'll get some news today.

They have had 5 days now to examine their findings. I would think that would be sufficient.

Dives are often at the mercy of the weather. I'm not certain how the weather has been for them, but I believe the initial dive was delayed because of it.

Still, I hope to at least get some preliminary assessment info today.

Does anyone remember the Big Foot in the Freezer scam!?

Big Foot in Freezer

Yup, that one! It went on for weeks. First the report. Then the photos. Then claims of scientists and tests. Then... BAM... it blew up and the truth came out.

The same thing will happen here. Scam!

I do not know if this is a scam or not but one thing I do know for sure is how much this operation would cost , and that is A LOT.. Just think , how much money they would throw away in fuel costs alone. Have You seen the size of that ship ? I would say at least a couple hundred liters per hour would be minimum for this size vessel to operate. Now add all those hours that they need to arrive at the destination and then back to port .. Now add the rest of the costs (food, gadgets, workers payment, etc..) and you come up with a pretty big sum ..

So unless they have a really really wealthy and crazy investor I would wager that they at least have to think that this investment will somehow benefit them in the long run ..

So one thing is to have a "frozen bigfoot" in the freezer that would cos lets say a few hundred dollars maximum, and another is to have a diving expedition of this magnitude that would cost thousand of dollars ..

So I do not know if there is something down there or now , but at least they have to think something is down there.. Or at least the investors ..

But how is anyone to know whether they even went out into the area and spent all that fuel and or how many times they've gone out. It's all speculation, people assuming they're burning up fuel at a couple hundred litres per hour !

I see no evidence of a scam....I see a web site that's been put up, but hasn't been updated, but to be honest if I was mucking about on the seabed I couldn't be bothered updating a web site either

I don't want to sound harsh, but life isn't a TV soap opera that's there for your amusement, running on a schedule that'll keep you titilated on time and at regular intervals. Stuff happens as I'm sure you know, so give these blokes a chance. Whatever it is, has been lying there for a long time, so it isn't going to nip off anytime soon.

If they have found something "good" it'll all go quiet and those involved will have accidents over the coming years and it'll become another conspiracy theory. If they find jack, it'll be announced a.s.a.p.

Just my 2 cents

Erm from what I understand it is pretty easy to track a vessel on sea . So proving that they went there is actually possible (if they did). Also about the fuel issue , it is not assuming anything, a 65 feet yacht burns up around 100-150 liters of fuel per hour now compare that to that ship and tell me how much it burns ?

Of course depends what engines they have there, but looking at the size of that I would say we can at least compare the engine power to a 65 feet luxury yacht engines..
