How often have we seen threads saying this very same thing?
All of the Abrahamic religions can be interpreted so the "believer" thinks that to further the cause they should kill or subjugate "non-believers".
Thankfully those who do think like this are in the vast minority.
I have plenty of friends who are devout Muslims and you know what? They are just like you and me (well probably not like the OP) they are friendly, good to be with and tolerant of others' beliefs.

Is it a coincidence that the lands the west are forcibly trying to obtain or take control of are peopled by Muslims? So certain factions from the west are trying to demonise them so we don't feel so bad when we slaughter them.

The is a very american point of view. How do you know those fighting are Islamic? It is written in the islamic religion no man may harm another, but he may defend himself as long as he does not exceed the aggression of his attacker. I know you will bring up islamic terrorists, but I will bring up the Nazis and KKK and the crusades, every religion has it's whack jobs. You may bring up all the roadside bombings in afghanistan or the civilian resistance in any us occupied country. If you invade a country with your military, this is an act of hostility. Sir , Humans are Evil to a large degree simply out of the greed of our own hearts and some religions. War is War , it happens. You have to defend your beliefs or die like the rest.

All Religions preach peace, but never act accordingly, why single out Islam, many of the conflicts mentioned were not the fault of Islam but the fault of the people who fired the first shots. People often hide behind warped ideology to get followers to do their bidding, that isn't exclusive to Islam, I'm not defending any extremist view, in my opinion I believe extremism to be a form of insanity, just pointing out that Islam is not the only religion that does not practice what it preaches. It's about time humanity realised that God does not exist and Religion is a hollow and empty pastime.

They are actually called the Stolen Generations, mind you. But yes we did that but may I remind you of the little something else that is oftened ignored, the white stolen generation? Ever heard of that?

Actually with the help of our over lords at the time, we also stole UK kids by the hundreds of thousands among others.And If the parents (usually workers) when they first immigrated, weren't too sussed with the language and something happened to one, then the gov stepped in and relieved them of their kids as well.
My neighbour was one and her family was from Hungary. She was told her Dad was dead also, lovely nuns, she found out about 5 years ago he wasn't and his remains were delivered by Australia Post about a year and a half ago....

My family wash shipped, so we didn't really have a choice either.

This arguing over who did what actually perpetuates all the histories together, what a melting pot right here right now.

Here's something that a lot of people conveniently forget...
In Islam, Jesus is considered to be the Messiah and is actually mentioned in the Quran more than Mohammed.
The main differences with Islam and Christianity regarding Jesus is that they see him as a messenger of god rather than god itself and that he did not die on the cross but that he did ascend to heaven. They also recognise that he was born of a virgin and was able to perform miracles. They also believe that he will return just before the Day of Judgement to battle with the anti-christ.
