American Liberals are ushering in a Banana Republic, where the facade of Elections

After all it took 750 million plus to elect their guy in office and has printed over 3 trillion in as many years.

Go Walker the guy who cut spending!!!!!!!!!!

And democrats have the print media, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, PBS, NPR.

Republicans have. . . . um. . . . . Fox.

Yeah, seems fair and balanced.

And Republicans have 85% of talk radio...

ba·nan·a re·pub·lic Noun: A small nation, esp. in Central America, dependent on one crop or the influx of foreign capital.

Sounds like when unions prey on the taxpayer for their livelyhoods that one crop where the cash dried up.

Go Walker!!!!!

Radio (much like tv) is driven by listeners and advertising. No listeners? No talk radio.

You've just shown that liberalism is a minority.

*bravo!*

After all the attacks on Walker by the left and unions, if he didn't have a defense fund, he'd be an idiot.

Its not a defense fund, it's a criminal defense fund. Big difference.

'State law allows an officeholder to have a defense fund only if he is being charged with a crime, thinks he is being charged with a crime, is paying for the defense of an agent charged with a crime, or has been convicted of a crime.

Either Walker is being investigated for serious crimes or he is defending those who have been accused of or are guilty of serious crimes. Don’t the people of Wisconsin deserve an answer before the election?'

Walker, and the "money" you are talking about, didn't do ANYTHING,to change the outcome ! People voted because they are tired of the handouts, these people are getting ! I was called 4 times,2 by Bill Clinton, and had knocks on my door,by those who wanted me to vote for Barrett. Not once Walker ! Unions are a waste of peoples money. They do nothing for the little man they are supposedly, trying to protect. They want Union dues, and they want you to vote Democrat.

Good man, when you guys kill off unions you will have your corporate masters standing unchecked.

They will then use government against you next while the gut the American economy and reinvest in

emerging markets. You don't look after your neighbor and you will eat it eventually

Your unemployment figures are correct, but I add, that with an environment not beholding to public sector unions an environment can be created that will reverse the trend.

I'm not condescending, don't get ouchy. This was a referendum against unions and the entitlements that public sector unions feel they have for tax payr money.

And Walker had 7 times the amount of money.

Americas electoral practice will be privatized and we will be completely cut out

Why do you guys get so upset over the unions? Their time has passed and their usefulness has eroded with time. It's not just americans who feel this way.either.

WE CAN'T AFFORD IT.

America's middle class has declined steadily with the decline of unions. FACT

Unions use to maintain the balance of power, now there is no balance and we will

be ruled by corporations

Unions once were a noble enterprise, I will be the first one to admit, but times have changed. In a capitalist system, businesses fail when they do not meet the needs of the consumers. These companies who are "too big to fail" do not represent the main focus of capitalist mindset. I suppose you could call them crony capitalists or more succinctly, thieves.

Wrong again. Why is it that I know more about your country than you do? Obama bailed out the banks an GM so there goes your theory.
The only explanation I can muster for your stupidity is that you have bought into the class warfare agenda that will see your country burn to the ground.
You would benefit greatly from listening to genuine conservatives, not the republican sellouts you see on msnbc

I don't think so. I have serious doubts about our 'election process'. He (along with all the other planted officials) may have the victory, but I don't think he won.

-If voting changed anything, they’d make it illegal. – Emma Goldman

Anyways, I don't live in Wisconsin, I only feel for their dilemma. They just got some politics up to their eyeballs over the course of the last months, and now we are going into the presidential run. Those people might have to move their tv's into the bathroom to deal with all the crap that's going to be coming from them.

Sorry, I work for a HUGE corporation and I make way more than that.

They are FORCED to pay me a lot because otherwise I would go somewhere else with my talents. That is how the free market works. Hard work is rewarded, slugs get fired.

edit on 5-6-2012 by AugustusMasonicus because: networkdude has no beer

I would not get so comfortable with that. Sounds like a prime example of a department that will get outsourced, because a firm that specializes in what you do, can do it cheaper. Then, when you go and try to jump ship, you will see the same firm waltzing with the management of that company as well. Now, if you think you are so good at what you do, you will have to take the pay of what they think you are worth. This is a rampart example of what is going on today, and sounds like you have not been in the job market for a while.
