This thread is an oxymoron.
The use of the term was advanced by philosopher Antony Flew in his 1975 book Thinking About Thinking: Do I sincerely want to be right?.[2]
Imagine Hamish McDonald, a Scotsman, sitting down with his Glasgow Morning Herald and seeing an article about how the "Brighton Sex Maniac Strikes Again." Hamish is shocked and declares that "No Scotsman would do such a thing." The next day he sits down to read his Glasgow Morning Herald again and this time finds an article about an Aberdeen man whose brutal actions make the Brighton sex maniac seem almost gentlemanly. This fact shows that Hamish was wrong in his opinion but is he going to admit this? Not likely. This time he says, "No true Scotsman would do such a thing."
—Antony Flew, Thinking About Thinking
When the statement "all A are B" is qualified like this to exclude those A which are not B, this is a form of begging the question; the conclusion is assumed by the definition of "true A".

Only fools rejoice in their own wisdom.
I do agree with the op as well in that kundalini experiences are more truth than not.
Its the approach I disagree with....the woe is me stuff.

i am simply displaying the confidence of knowing as this knowledge deserves. i am displaying that what i will say is fact. there are many ppl who know this to be fact. it is no secret after all. the eastern philosophies clearly describe everything i will be speaking of as it is from studying them and following their teaching is how i was able to discover the path and luckily, achieve it as well.
i wish the unbelievers, detractors and trolls could see what i see. but i cannot help you if you dont believe in your own spirit. i intend to lead no man. from my understanding each man is a leader of himself. but each must learn from wrong why it is wrong and thus make the free will choice to do right.
sigh i could explain it all. but a forum will not suffice. if you really want to find the truth. look to eastern philosophies. after you understand those the bible will seem alot clearer to understand. all the religions of the earth tell the same story with the objective of teaching this same thing. Than ATS is not the place for this thread.
This is a place for open conversation. When someone starts a thread that purposely stifles open conversation from the thread's inception it is really, rather irritating.
Starting a thread simply to gather folks to an astral meeting that no one else can be privy to just doesn't sit well with me. I personally believe in Astral Projection, and those who have achieved it have always come off as more enlightened than the average person. I'm not getting that vibe here.... if anything it is arrogance.
This is just not cool.edit on 5-6-2012 by Osiris1953 because: (no reason given)

Anybody who believes they are a TRUE enlightened being compared to the rest of us probably isn't as enlightened as one thinks.
Just sayin'.
