I'm sorry. I read to the part where it said "Drunvalo Melchizedek", and realized that the whole thing was about some sort of McClaneist religion rather than politics. I stopped before I got to the part(s) concerning the mythical "evolution of consciousness".

I prefer Sumerian mythology when I indulge in mythology.

Look to whatever gives you comfort, but work in the real world. If you are claiming that the government we have now compared to what we had 40 or 50 years ago is some sort of "human evolution", then it look a lot more to me like regression from where I stand. If it progresses along the same trajectory, there is going to be BIG trouble, the likes of which the US has never, ever experienced.

"Evolution of consciousness" or not.

Another great assistance would be real campaign finance reform - eliminate donations by anything other than a verifiable individual, and parcel out government funds to each party on an equal shares basis. No corporate money, no Union money, no lobbyist money. Lobbyists should, in fact, be outlawed altogether, and hanged if caught trying to deal. No NRA lobbying, no AARP lobbying, no corporate lobbying, no Union lobbying, NO LOBBYING, period.

Great point, and I think we need that first because until the money influence is gone we won't get anything else done.

It seems like the republicans always talk about this issue but it really never gets fixed.

the Tea Party’s version of separation of church and state protects the church from the state. In fact, religion plays a dominant role in the Tea Party Constitution. Freedom of religion would mean you get to choose which denomination of their list of approved religions you can belong to. Agnostics, Athiests, Jews, Muslims, Mormons and anyone else who doesn’t subscribe to the Tea Party approved religions will be forced to convert. In fact, religion plays a big role in the Tea Party constitution. The constitution is interpreted through a religious prism. In honor of women’s equality day, it’s also worth noting that women’s freedom means being submissive to their husbands.

The full implications of a Tea Party constitution are well stated by RACHEL TABACHNICK when asked during an interview with Terry Gross on NPR what authority dominionists want in government.

" They want the authority to align government with what they believe is the kingdom of God, with biblical values in their interpretation.

Let me back up and say something about dominionism. Dominionism is very different than having strong beliefs or even having very strong beliefs about one’s Evangelical values. Dominionism is very controversial inside of the conservative and Evangelical world. It’s a specific theology that states that somehow God lost control of the Earth when Satan tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden and that humans must help God regain control of the Earth. And the way that they do this is by taking dominion over society and government.

The apostles and prophets have an interesting twist on this. They’re not the only dominionist movement out there. Some people may be familiar with Rushdoony and Christian Reconstructionism. This is a different brand of dominionism.

And the apostles teach what’s called strategic-level spiritual warfare with the idea being that the reason why there is sin and corruption and poverty on the Earth is because the Earth is controlled by a hierarchy of demons under the authority of Satan.

And so they teach that not just evangelizing souls one by one, as we’re accustomed to hearing about, they teach that they will go into a geographic region or to a people-group and conduct these spiritual-warfare activities in order to remove the demons from the entire population or the demonic control over the entire population. And this is what they’re doing that’s quite different than other conservative Evangelical or fundamentalist groups of the past."

Under a Tea Partye constitution, public education is non-existant. That like every other facet of life would be controlled by “the church” and maybe the occasional coupon.

My advice ? Nobody vote this November, by way of protest.. ( No, you,ll do what you always do, hoping the latest president will actually work in the interests of all Americans, not just the privileged few. )

Rather than "voting for no one", I would recommend the same ones who vote for no one instead vote for an absolute zero, an impossible, ridiculous candidate who is nonetheless on the ballot. Every one vote for Gus Hall, or whoever the CPUSA candidate is this year. He'd get NOTHING done, due to the massive opposition to the CPUSA agenda, but it would succeed in getting the message across that we're finished with the business as usual Washington politics. "Getting nothing done" would actually be an accomplishment, an improvement over what we have - which is "getting the wrong stuff done"..

It would send a much needed smoke signal to DC, upset their apple cart and rock their world.

Voting for "no one" means that the one vote that would without fail be cast would determine the presidency, because I have no doubt in my mind that whoever we don't vote for, Obama will vote for himself.

Vote CPUSA!

I think with all the people on ATS who ‘know everything’ (myself included ) we should be able to come up with a solution or at least a direction!

There is only one solution, and that is Power To The People, but nobody on ATS (or anywhere) wants to discuss it.

Apparently mankind is not ready to lead itself (look at Great Britain for example - they still have a QUEEN for Pete's sake!)

The counter argument to True Democracy is that it's "mob rule"...
But if real democracy is mob rule, then representative democracy is mob rule by proxy!

No, the monkeys aren't ready yet - not collectively anyway.

I think people who make these threads are actually disinfo agents for TPTB, and are just trying to ferret out people who don't like the TPTB.

Think about it.

Of course they'll deny it.

I think your tin foil hat is on too tight.

The majority of people on this site are fed up with TPTB, myself included. I'm past that now....now I'm looking for a solution. You can read any of my 100+ threads and find out where I stand.

Huh I thought America was doing well . Jobs are dwindling , National debt is at it's highest, Resources don`t keep replenishing it's self , every American is living the American dream. I can understand seabags stance on sustainability. Why should a nation practice sustainability or conservation , anyone who says other wise is part of the globalist agenda. LoL

Seriously I think America is right on track peaceful protest , will just one pepper sprayed, beat up and thrown in jail. People pay their taxes to lose their houses while greedy corporations get bail out and tax breaks . It seem as if ballots cast on elections are used for nothing more than very low grade toilet paper. Also on the international scale they are doing very well on the front of war on terror , Afghanistan ,Iraq , lybia , possibly soon in Iran and Syria .

All the right makings of a Revolution

I was just making out my report to send in to The Party when I realized that you had yet to come down on one side or the other in this thread. Therefore, I'm forced to ask you straight out - "do you like TPTB?" It appears that you do, considering the excoriating you're attempting to deliver the OP - all without offering any constructive solutions against TPTB of your own, but I can't really be sure until you issue a definitive statement.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation in assisting me to get my report to The Party completed so that I can get my paycheck this week. Baby needs a new pair of shoes, you know!

You can't.

Your thinking is not "outside the box" enough.

To stop a freight train with only a handful of people, you pry the spikes out of a single section of rail, and remove it from the tracks, then fade far enough into the brush to watch the ensuing mayhem. You do not attack the freight train itself, you attack the tracks it travels on. Stoppage is stoppage, and wreckage is wreckage. Neither is an out of control, runaway operating freight train.

Think deeply on that.

Could 2012 be America 's Last Presidential Election?

Michael Savage

I've asked this question to a number of people and most them respond as if I were crazy for asking. They tell me that this is America , land of the free and that there will always be elections. I tell them that we are no longer the land of the free and that if Obama gets re-elected in 2012, that this just may be America 's last election.

In the past three years, the Obama administration has been very carefully crafting the nation for a political take over by his Marxist regime and this isn't just my opinion.
Popular radio talk show host Michael Savage is the son of Russian immigrants and is very familiar with Soviet and European history. Savage warned his listeners this week saying, "I have to tell you that if this man, God forbid, is the next president of the United States , we're going to be living in something along the lines of - people say Europe . I don't believe it's going to be like Europe - I think it will be closer to Chavez's South American dictatorship.
"This is the most corrupt, incompetent, dangerous tyrannical administration in American history. It's not politics as usual. It's not just Democrats versus Republicans. Obama has a long history of being at odds with American values and with America itself and the core principles of this country. They don't want government-sponsored opinions. They only want government-sponsored 'Pravda.' That's exactly what the government-media complex tells you on a daily basis - nothing but the government-media complex party line. Pay attention. Your freedom may be at stake."
Over the weekend, Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum told a small group of people in an Iowa coffee house that "Barack Obama is not incompetent, ladies and gentleman. He knows exactly what he's doing and why he's doing it. He sees America differently than you see America . (Obama] has gone out of his way to divide this country in a way I haven't seen since the Great Depression when Franklin Roosevelt went around to divide his country. That's his hero. What makes America great [in Obama's mind is that] the government takes money from somebody and gives it to somebody else. No, that's what makes America , France ."
With his control over the Executive and Judicial branches of the government, the stage is set for a complete takeover of the government. Think about it.

Since taking office, instead of helping the economy, Obama has purposely escalated the economic crisis by plunging the country into unprecedented debt. He has a number of programs that are designed to go into effect in January 2013, just in time for his second term of office. The economic burden and increased taxes on everyone will be enough to cause the final economic collapse of the country. As soon as that happens, Obama declares Martial Law and assumes dictatorial control of the nation.
The Department of Justice has already been subverting federal laws to strip us of a number of freedoms. The Supreme Court and many of the other federal courts have been seeded with socialistic liberal judges that will rule in Obama's favor on virtually anything, thus ending constitutional rule and law.
He's already changing the face of America 's military. Allowing homosexuals to openly serve along with changing the retirement program is causing many conservative military leaders to resign commissions and leave the military. Some Pentagon officials are also noting that an increase in the enlistment of radical Muslims into the US military where they get all the training they need on weapons and defense systems. We have no idea how many of them there are in the armed forces or in what positions they may hold.

Obama has been wielding executive powers this past year as if he were already a dictator. When Congress is not doing his bidding, he simply bypasses them and used an executive order to accomplish it anyway. This has set the stage for his disbandment of Congress. He would not be the first world leader to take control of a nation and disband the legislative branch of government.

He has been effectively using the media to anesthetize the public to the dangers he poses. Like a patient being prepped for surgery, people are numb to the changes and won't have a clue what took place until they wake up in recovery and realize that free America has been removed and replaced with a regime that may parallel those of Stalin, Lenin, Mussolini, Hitler, Chavez and Castro.

For the sake of our children and grandchildren,
I earnestly pray that we are spared from what seems a certain future

How does popular vote equate to direct democracy? We would still be a constitutional republic and we would still have representatives in DC.

One man, one vote in voting for the representatives will only work after taking the grouped "special interest" money out of the equation. They can dictate that their own membership vote any old way they like, but using that money to influence others on a collective level is entirely wrong, and counter to the system as it was intended. it is, in effect, an attempt at conscription of others into their own ranks.

Remove that ability, and the playing field may be leveled enough that one man's vote really IS one man's vote. No more collective donations to politicians or parties. No NRA, AARP, AIPAC, or any other "special interest" groups. They can do as they please among their own membership, but get 'em the hell out of the politicians' pockets!

A third party will DEFINITELY never have a chance to grow until we plant it and nurture it. Defeating yourself before ever even trying is...well, ... defeatist. Who needs TPTB to beat us down when we are perfectly adept at doing it to ourselves, far better than they can ever even hope to do?

You say you're willing to "fight for what you believe", yet are afraid to even organize a political party?

I see...

I just sat and read through all 5 pages and there were many interesting suggestions but IMO this is the best one. Of course it won't work because there would be no way to get so many people on board, BUT IF it were possible and there were ZERO voter turn out at the polls in November I think that would send a powerful message.

How do you propose to keep Obama away from the polls all day so that he doesn't vote for himself, and the single vote of one man decides the entire presidency?

Challenge him to a golf game that day?

That's actually one of the issues that both sides of The Great Divide can agree upon, but nothing ever gets done about it. I think perhaps we are just not agreeing on it loudly enough or forcefully enough.

Many people see the donations from their own "side" as OK, and are only opposed to donations from the "other side" - i.e. corporatist vs unionist donations. What we need to do is realize and educate that BOTH are each every bit as bad as the other. Collectivism is collectivism, I don't care if it's "right wing" or "left wing" collectivism. people apply labels like "fascist" or "socialist" to convince themselves that "their" version of collectivism is OK, and it's just "the other guys version" that is a bad thing, when in reality BOTH are attempts to herd the many by the few.

Both sides are trying to herd us all into the pens, because We the People are what's for supper. WE are "the other white meat", and they don't care if they cut us from the right side of the carcass or the left side - we'll be eaten all the same.

This part I agree with.

The rest of the post was a counter-productive, damaging, partisan rant. Get past the partisanship, the finger-pointing and the bickering, and find the issues you can agree upon, and you may actually find that you can make some progress.

Of course, the other side has to do the same... but if it ever starts, it has to start some where.

This is one of the places where Dr. Savage and I must part company. he is only ranting against Obama because he has nothing and no one to rant FOR. The alternative to Obamney is... well, Obamney!

Simply "getting rid of Obama" is insufficient until you have something positive to replace him with! Replacing him with himself in a new coat of paint isn't going to accomplish anything.
