Report: Axelrod and Holder Nearly Came to Blows in White House Argument

Eric Holder, Barack Obama's attorney general and David Axelrod, his top political adviser had to be separated after squaring up during a furious row over attempts to impose White House operatives in the justice department.

Eric Holder, who heads Mr Obama's justice department, is said to have become "incensed" after being accused by David Axelrod of complaining publicly about political interference in his office.

"That's bull****," Mr Holder said in a confrontation after a cabinet meeting, according to author Daniel Klaidman. He writes: "The two men stood chest to chest. It was like a school yard fight".

Tension's in the White House seems that there is a lot going on behind the scenes, and the poor performance of the current administration is finally showing.

I use to watch quite a bit of Hitchens and truth be told he was full of it.

Kind of funny and sad that tempers are flying in Washington and when they do that has never turned out well for us.

Holder and Axelrod are both a couple of sniveling spoiled brats.

Both are extremely possessive and will kill when threatened.

Although Holder is more the raving jealous type, and he may suffer from an inferiority complex.
(much like Obama)

Axelrod is more like a rabid animal.

Axelrod is a Chicago insider and Holder is just well connected via New York and Washington D.C.
(Holder went to Columbia University and has connections from there)

Since Axelrod is on the outside and Holder is on the inside, big guess to which side Obama stood on.

Why didnt they fight?

Wimps.

I would have gladly took the opportunity to punch Holder in the face.

Then I would have punched myself for being Axelrod.

Then I would have said "Where were you at on that one Obama?".
