I think you honestly need to look at all the congressmen who have voted on issues throughout all the administrations.

There have been some terrible decisions(or manipulations) made by presidents as well, and Bush had his fair share.

First of all, in all parties you have the same right to center to left spectrum and Obama seems to have drifted from center to right or to phrase it differently he is more of a pragmatist than the visionary reformer he posed as during the last elections. I have no horse in this race, because I am not a US citizen, but I was mighty disappointed that he broke some promises (no big deal, all politicians do that) and also disappointed with some of his choices, like keeping defense secretary and appointing Hillary to the State Department. But as I said he was being pragmatic and politics is the art being pragmatic. After the elections the party or the candidate who gets to govern must foremost be pragmatic. You know, hypothetically speaking, he might want to change the US into a socialist or even communist state, but being pragmatic he knows that such a change can not be accomplished in the US as it is right now. The big capital won't allow it; and the people themselves won't allow it.

George Carlin was right: Your vote doesn't matter; it's all a show. There are people controlling our government that laugh at us because we think we are free to elect our own leaders. yeah right...i guess bush and company didn't have enough time to finish off the middle class, so "we" all should elect another republican to complete the job...i am excited about all of those low-paying, part-time, temporary, no-benefit jobs that romney will create
