Part 1
I was driving down Dale Mabry in front of the Raymond James Stadium in the next to outside lane. To my right there was a turn lane going into the
baseball stadium. Up in front of me in that lane there was a silver colored Infiniti sedan. Coming up to it the sedan cut in front of us without using
it’s blinker and forced me to step on the breaks from hitting it, so I laid on my horn. At that time I saw a huge Hummer that was in front of the
sedan. In front of the Hummer was a sawhorse blocking the lane.
The sedan stepped on its breaks and I almost hit it so I got over into the outside lane to get around them and shook my head at them as I drove by and
got back over in the lane I was in because the lane was a turning lane. The sedan then sped up on my outside and the driver rolled down his window and
started yelling at me. I asked him if he knew how to use his blinker and asked him if he was crazy because I had a child in the car with me. The
driver told me to pull over and I just ignored him. He then pulled over on the side of Dale Mabry, apparently waiting for me to do the same.
As we passed them he realized I wasn’t pulling over and pulled off the shoulder and cut right in front of me for a second time. I then turned right
at the next intersection to get away from them because they had already cut me off twice. I watched the car zoom by and did a u-turn at what was later
discovered the police station. We then made a right back onto Dale Mabry and got into the right turn lane to turn onto Columbus towards Westshore,
where we were headed to go to Gandy for the day. The traffic was stopped and I did not see the other car anywhere. Then the light turned green and I
saw the car turning the same way about 4 cars in front. The car was well in front of me but I got all the way over in the next to inside lane to avoid
him. Then I saw the sedan slow down to almost stopping waiting for us. When we got up to where the car was it purposely cut in front of us for a
fourth time.
I was forced to slam on my breaks again… I laid on my horn again… I also went around him and pulled up to the light.
They pulled along side of me and the driver got out and was yelling yet again through the window at me and my daughter taunting me to get out. I was
scared and tried to ignore him. That was when the guy kicked the side of my car in. That was when I pulled in front of them to block them off so I
could jump out and take a picture of their tag. As I was coming round my car the driver got back into his car and ran the red light cutting around the
front of my car just missing me. I was fumbling my phone in my hand trying to access the camera but my phone was lagging and not responding. As he
almost hit me I swung and his the drivers back window. That was when I got back into my car and dialed 911. I also ran the light not wanting them to
get away. That was when I saw them pulled over on the side. I rolled up my windows and locked the doors as we pulled up behind them not knowing what
would happen. That was when I got the first picture of the car.
I told the 911 operator where I was and that I was pulling into the parking lot away from them because I was not sure what they were capable of next.
I pulled in and turned to the right and parked under a tree out of the sun. I told the operator where I was and that I did not want to go near the guy
who was twice my size. I sat down to gain my composure and when I looked back over he was talking to two patrol cars. I did not want to go over there
until they were done with him. Then I saw a female officer come into the parking lot and drive right past us not even looking our way. We tried to
flag her down but she just drove on and never came back around. I saw a security guard drive by on a golf cart and asked him if he saw a patrol car on
the back side because we were waiting on one because some guy just ran us off the road and then kicked the side of my car in. I then called 911 again
and explained to the dispatch #91 that the officer just drove by and didn’t even look our way and I wanted someone out there. She asked me to hold
while she tried to get a hold of the officer. I heard her discussing the situation with them and she even said “What do you mean you are not going
back out there?” That was when I tried to get her attention to see what was going on. She got back on and said that they refused to come back out. I
was outraged. She told me that someone would be calling me and if they didn’t to call back and ask for #91. No one showed back up and I called 911
for a third time. I asked for dispatch 91 but the operator asked what for. I explained to her what was going on and she said that they thought they
had already talked to the victim. I explained to her that I was the victim and the side of my car had been kicked in. She said they were coming back
out.
