Interesting comparing the responses in the thread about Ron Paul's life being "threatened" to the responses in this thread. Funny how the responses change based on who the threatened individual is, and who made the "threat." Just some food for thought.

Yeah well one is president, one is not. There will not be equal responses. The SS will not be so jumpy for Paul, that is not their job. They will not visit anyone and the story will not be this.
Apples and Oranges just because of the office.

I agree. This guy is over the top suggesting Obama should be beheaded publicly if convicted (
)

They could have easily bridged that gap actually.

He is spending ages discussing beheading Obama, he knows...KNOWS...obama is an illegal alien...no need for a court case..dismiss that...he is already guilty..and guilty people get executed...public, broad daylights.

But still, I see nowhere where he physically threatens Obama himself to warrant a SS visit. I've seen as bad or worse hypothetical suggestions here at ATS, or at any number of other sites too. And no SS visits there, so what's this all about? Intimidation is my answer. An example to stay away from being a "birther," no matter WHAT the evidence suggests.

Difference of course being a friendly chat due to veiled threats.
Had he gone the final step and did a full blown threat..this video and thread wouldn't be here...instead, a little newsclip about some people arrested and currently being investigated while they sit in club fed...if they are lucky..they actually could end up in gitmo

The guy is walking free...because even though he treads on the line of free speech verses insighting riots and rebellion, he didn't yet cross that line.

And of course the SS is intimidating..you want them to dress in bunny outfits? They are letting him know in no uncertain terms that this little fun game he is playing will have limits, and should he cross the line and do criminal activity against the united states, there will be little more than a prison in his life, or bullets in his chest...Same reason a cop looks like a ninja warrior..figures of law and order must be seen as a mortal threat to a person so they know what they are playing with when skirting the laws...don't try to cross that lake, else the moat monsters will get you

More than that
One guy is on video calling for the execution of a president
the other is some guy has a source of someone whom knows a guy whom overheard someone say they wanted people to die.

I don't expect several here to understand the difference..they are probably from texas

Like it or not, Ron Paul is a candidate for POTUS. He is also an elected official. He has qualified to have his name on the ballot. This most certainly is NOT an improper comparison.

Cool story.
Is Ron Paul the president of the United States?

Should there be an actual threat, the SS will likely get involved (he is still on the ballot? hmm).
There is no threat..prove a threat.
I can show you a video of someone calling for Obama to be beheaded...Actually, I linked it (see page 1, skip to 8 minutes)
can you provide the same proof?

The comparable difference you are trying to pretend is there is some guy saying a source said he overheard someone saying something...how insane are you to say these two are the same?

In Texas, more than 400 people have been executed since capital punishment was reinstated by the Supreme Court in 1976. Ours is the busiest death chamber in the nation - and Texans overwhelmingly back the death penalty. Polls indicate that nearly three-quarters of Texans support capital punishment.

Texas has the highest execution rate in the USA. It should be demonized.

Video of the exchange shows Davis explaining his belief that Obama is ineligible to be president and clarifying that he only wished the judicial system to execute Obama “once he has been convicted in a court of law.”

www.wnd.com...

he suggested Obama be executed if convicted.

The "executed if convicted" bit is what earned him a SS visit; not the "Birther" beliefs.

Second line because my first line was so clear and obvious and to the point - that a second line shouldn't even be needed.

Intimidate him for what? This guy is no threat to Obama and he more than likely could care less about him. People on this site are so ridiculous sometimes.
