Last month's solar flare created a mysterious pulse on Earth that seemed to 'answer' sun's blast

Strangely, despite a recent solar flare being only moderate, neutron monitors on earth lit up in response, the first time they have done so for 6 years.

Now scientists are trying to work out why.

May 17th's solar flare: Neutron monitors all round the world lit up in response to the blast for the first time in six years, despite the fact it was an M-Class, or moderate, flare

James Ryan, an astrophysicist at the UNH Space Science Center said, ‘This solar flare was most unimpressive and the associated CME was only slightly more energetic. And looking at it optically, it was remarkably dim, it was, all things considered, a ninety-eight pound weakling of solar events.

For decades, there has been strong debate as to what complex processes produce the extremely energetic particles that are registered on the ground; is it the shockwave in front of a CME or do the particles come from the solar flare itself?

Scientists are now analysing the data using a satellite which scans an range of bizarre particles invisible to other spacecraft - PAMELA, a European spacecraft dedicated to watching rays from space.

I hate to ay it, but from the looks of things, it looks like the sun is about to implode on itself. Not to mention probably why the whole world has just gone into recent insanity.

I hope not.

I believe we are in line for a major solar storm in 2012/2013.

The last time the earth was struck by one, in the 19th century, everything electrical, switched on at the time, was burnt out.

Solar storm of 1859

Telegraph systems all over Europe and North America failed, in some cases even shocking telegraph operators. Telegraph pylons threw sparks and telegraph paper spontaneously caught fire. Some telegraph systems appeared to continue to send and receive messages despite having been disconnected from their power supplies

Solar storm of 1859

We have another big one coming, apparently.

Ya everbody saying the sun is extra hot was just out for a few minute and got a sun burn
and this is at 50 lattitude never had this problem before in 58 year I have been around
strange for sure.

Is that right? Everything tells you the Sun is going to implode?
How long have you been studying it? Why do you believe a GLE indicates an impending implosion?

That's def Niburu. If you stare at it with your eyes wide open you'll see all the suspended gold particles trailing off of it.

Guess you haven't been looking at the CME flares and hotspots lately. go to cor1 A or B and watch the flares, it's coming from all directions. Not just 1 spot at a time, multiple spots at a time, and they are huge.

And that's unusual? Has x-ray flare activity been unusually high? Were you observing the activity in 2001 during the last solar maximum?

Sweet sassy malassy you are in love with the concept of doom. It seems everytime I read one of your posts the moon is wonky, the sun is gassy, Nibiru's playing peekaboo with us.

Who hurt you, little dove?

I dont think the sun will implode but I not going to knock the lady for thinking that way! Anyway what does the information suggest? A: will our o-zone hold up to a massive solar flair? I'm no expert lol so I'm asking questions anyway the question im asking is could the sun make a solar flair so massive it puches a hole in the o-zone and lets say frys the earth with massive heat? Please be nice i do have an education but its far from planetary physics lol

AH, Don't forget about the man who almost died on my porch today. He kept asking me if he was going to die, and I'm like, dude you only got shot in the foot.
I don't know anybody who has ever died from a gun shot wound to the foot. Might die from gangrene. Already had my doom glory for the day.
I was like seriously........ His wound was nasty. Huge hole. He did pass out on me a few times, then the adrenaline hit him and he became very agitated when the officers and paramedics arrived.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Okay back on topic. Sorry I sidetracked. It was a rush day for me.

But it does look like the sun is about to implode. Just from those huge fireballs bursting out.

What about: The Sun is responding to Earth's impulses? I think HAARP could be behind this and try and make us believe to their 2012 "end of the World" (BS).

Could be a possibility. I mean HARRP does transmit through Earth from space, so what if their machine has malfunctioned and turned the other way. Probably why we see all those laser tron shows near the Sun. lol

i am pretty lucky and don't burn easily. However in the last few weeks i have been with friends and family members who have been in the sun for short periods at temperatures they would never usually burn at and they have been destroyed with sunburn. I haven't had a touch of sunburn.

And to throw another spanner in the works, the folks getting badly burnt have all got the same blood type. Its the rarer univeral donor type.

Actually the most simple explanation is often the correct one.

The captured data simply means that, while neutron emissions are in most cases tied to CME's or X-ray flares, the strength of the flares/CME is not linear to the strength of the neutron emissions. So whatever causes flares in the first place, can obviously create events that sometimes produce rather large quantities of neutrons with almost no associated flare/CME.

You have the same thing with CME's and X-ray flares. An x-ray flare CAN produce a CME, and vice versa, but it doesn't have to.

While this issue is well worth studying because it shows us we know very little about the inner workings of the sun, it is in no way mysterious, nor is it sign of impending doom.

ETA: Here's the neutron data you can see a little spike on the 17th. It's not really a major spike.

it a sign of impending doom.
maybe not but keeping your head in the ground like a do do bird will not make it go away.

Do you make this up as you go along? Impending implosion and now HARRP? It's like playing conspiracy theory "buzzword" bingo with you. Throw out a couple more comments including Nibiru and NASA and I think you might win a cash prize.
